My wife and I stayed at Garifalakis Hotel at the beginning of June for 6 days. It was the 3rd and final island of our trip. This hotel was a wonderful choice. Our hostess and her staff were amazing! From the initial pick up at the port that was arranged for us, to the check-in, the room, and the advice on where to go and what to see - we couldn't have been any happier. The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from the town's stores and restaurants. We had a room on the main floor so there was a large patio to use outside of the room. The room itself was big, had a small kitchenette and eating area. The bathroom was fully equiped and the shower had great water pressure. The room itself (as was the rest of the hotel) was spotless. At the reception desk there was always someone to offer advice or suggestions for where to go and how to get there. Overall - an amazing experience!!!! We would totally return to...

As mentioned by others the sun exposure is unfortunate, rooms have a balcony but no one is using it because it's always under the sun, and, on ground floors, also under the eyes of everyone as you are literally on the street. They could have at least added some trees or cover, there is only dust around.
Ultimately this place is overpriced, I paid 250 per night to stay on the ground floor with street view, zero privacy, no questions asked at the end so didn't even have a chance to complain.
Rooms inside are nice looking and new but lights were really too bright and I felt like a guest in a surgery room at night, didn't find bed comfortable but just my taste.
So again as someone previously noted a good place to sleep, nothing more. Will look...

Milos is indeed a wonderful place, a splendid piece of Greek land that has the power to make you happy only by setting foot on it! If you add to that the beautiful sea, the sun, the waves and the wonder of the places Milos has to offer, it is a magic recipe!
We really liked our time in Milos and we really like and respect Garifalakis business: accommodation and car rental! location in the newly developed part of Pollonia village is really good - close to the beach, close to the harbour and its eating and walking venue. rooms are very nicely furnished (all is stone-made!) and functional plenty of private parking space really nice staff, especially the owners: true Greek...
