Petrinos Restaurant is a true culinary paradise! I'm still reeling from the unforgettable dining experiences I had the pleasure of enjoying, not once, but TWICE during our 3-day trip to Milos. Every dish that graced our table was a masterclass in flavor, technique, and presentation. The fish roe dip was an absolute revelation - creamy, rich, and indulgent, with a depth of flavor that lingered long after the bite was gone.
The seafood selection was truly exceptional, with each dish showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. The urchin was a highlight, with its sweet, briny flavor and silky texture that simply melted in my mouth. The octopus was tender and charred to perfection, with a subtle smokiness that added depth and complexity to each bite.
The grilled squid was another standout, with a smoky flavor that paired beautifully with the accompanying sauce.
What truly sets Petrinos apart, however, is the passion and dedication that shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. From the impeccable service to the beautifully presented dishes, every detail is carefully considered to create a truly unforgettable experience. The servers are soooo sooo sweet and friendly, I feel so welcomed too!!!!
We were so blown away by the quality of the food and service that we returned to Petrinos not once, but twice during our short trip. It's a testament to the restaurant's consistency and excellence. I'm heartbroken to leave Milos, knowing I won't be able to indulge in these incredible dishes for a while. If you're a seafood lover, Petrinos is an absolute must-visit. The quality of the ingredients, the skill of the chefs, and the passion of the staff all come together to create a truly exceptional dining experience. I'll be dreaming of those flavors until I can return, and I highly recommend Petrinos to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable meal. 5/5 stars,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreService severely lacking. The waitresses cannot do a simple task.
Your restaurant was half empty. Your waitresses were not busy. They were both standing around half the time serving a half empty restaurant. You were most certainly not running around. After 5 mins of being seated, we asked if we could move ourselves to a table that was near the sea. You had two tables of two that were completely empty. Your waitresses response was ānot possible ā. We sat there for an hour and still those tables were not filled. Why ? Because your restaurant was half empty. You were not busy at all that night. If your waitresses were not able to handle a half empty restaurant, I truly cannot imagine how they work when you have a full house. Then 10 mins into the night your waitresses bring us a bottle of wine. When we asked why the wine , she responded that we had ordered the wine. We did not. She apologized and took the bottle back. Your waitresses do not seem to know what they are doing and most definitely to not know how to please their customers. I would suggest better training of your waitresses. Yes I asked for your waitress to take one quick photo. Her response ā not possibleā yet again. And yet again, she was standing there not doing much for the majority of our time there. You...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe saw that this restaurant was highly recommended on Trip Advisor and it was close to our rental. Our appetizer was good-shrimp in a red sauce with feta. We had to ask for bread and when we clarified that we wanted a different bread other than pita, she said, āno, itās not possible to change.ā We received our bill before our waters. Two of us got the cod dish-no flavor at all and no garlic sauce like the server said. The shrimp with orzo was also completely flavorless. I asked for the cuttlefish, but they didnāt have it. I landed on the traditional Greek pasta with mushrooms and it was the only dish that was edible. It was pretty great actually. We asked at the beginning of ordering if the check can be split or two checks given by how we were sitting and ordering. She agreed but when it came time to pay, they said again, that it wasnāt possible. Every other restaurant we have eaten in Greece had no problem with two checks. The view of the pier...
