Melagrana — Hotel in Municipality of Milos

Melagrana is a fantastic hotel, we are so happy we chose it for our stay in Milos. The location is perfect, easily walkable to several great bars and restaurants. There is plenty of parking right in front of the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The little patio was a lovely addition. We had breakfast included in our reservation, and I think it is one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Even if you pay for it separately, 10 euros per person is extremely cheap for what you are getting, both in terms of quality and quantity of food/drinks. They deliver everything to your room in a basket at your chosen time. We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio every morning. The hotel staff are absolutely lovely and were very helpful with anything we needed—extra towels & toiletries, local recommendations, and they booked a lovely in room massage for us. Unfortunately, due to severe winds and transport cancellations, we were never able to make it to Milos. All ferries and planes were grounded. While we’re heartbroken we didn’t get to experience the island or the stay in person, the service from Melagrana we received from afar were nothing short of outstanding.

Helen went above and beyond, keeping us informed and calm while we were scrambling to figure out what to do. Her care, responsiveness, and local guidance were deeply appreciated during a very stressful situation. It’s rare to find that level of warmth and professionalism, especially before even arriving.

Though we didn’t get to stay, we already know this place is something special — and we will absolutely try again. Huge thanks to Helen and the team for their kindness. We can’t wait to finally visit...

We reserved two rooms based on reviews and pictures on the Melagrana website. The Melagrana location was just right; close to the hub of town activity with a short walk but a distance away to be quiet. The staff was very courteous and attentive, and had been very helpful to us before our arrival in arranging a rental car and island activities. We had two rooms for a family stay. One room, as we learned after we checked in, was in the newly-renovated section which was very nice and reflective of the website photos with a comfortable bed and very nice shower.
