Niki Savvas Suites & Studios | With Real Sea View — Hotel in Municipality of Milos

We arrived 1 hour late, 'cause of a ferry delay. So at 21.15 we finally arrived at Niki savvas looking foreward to spend our time in this greatly reviewed hotel.|"We don't have you on the list". Aha. Strange, because we had booking references and everything necessary from our booking agency, which I double checked the next day.|5 min later, the so called manager, a mab called Leonidas (when googleing him, he is never mentioned to be the manager but runs a travel agency on Milos) arrived, told us a story about overbooking but he had a great alternative, he said. He seemed to be charming an nice. So, not wanting to sleep on a parking bench we got into his car and he drove us all the way to the south, to a place called golden milos, which is lands end, nothing there but the hotel. He told us that we would like it, that this is a upgrade, and that we could check the problem after our holidays with our travel agency. Not wanting to argue I said nothing, cause we were to tired and frankly said shocked about this event.||During a sleepless night we analyzed all the happenings and the whole situation seemed fishy.|1. We had all the booking references.|2. Why should this so called travel agent be at the hotel within 5min at 21.15?|3. Why should he have another room pre booked for us?|4. Why should we not talk to our travel agent?|5. ...||In the whole situation we felt like scaming victims. So, unfortunately we cannot say anything about the hotel itself but about the organisation. We absolutely loved staying at Niki Savvas! We spent 6 nights in the Aphrodite room and it was just perfect. The room has ocean front views with a balcony to enjoy breakfast and drinks on while overlooking to amazing sunsets. The furnishing are very modern and the room layout was perfect. We loved the private lawn with deck chairs right on the water. The beach is quite private and has beautiful crystal clear waters. Jenny and her team were so accomodating and friendly. Jenny was quick to respond to all my questions pre stay and helped organise car transfers and quad bike hire! We loved staying in the area of Pollonia (not as busy as Adamantas or Plaka). We stayed in the junior suite, downstairs facing the sea. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful with everything you need and was decorated in a lovely style. The bathroom is spacious with a proper power shower. It was spotlessly clean. There is a lovely little patio area overlooking the sea which was shady in the morning so a great spot for breakfast and also an ideal place to view the stunning sunset later on. Breakfast was also really good with a good choice of items which you choose the previous evening. Jenny and the staff are really pleasant and helpful with any information you need.
