Moni Emvasis Luxury Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Monemvasia

We stayed here for 3 nights during our trip in September, what a fabulous location and stunning small independent hotel that is perched up a flight of stairs in the lower town. Once we entered through a door and we were show up to our room on the top floor (4 rooms in total). The room was excellent, spacious, clean and very comfortable with a huge shower and bathroom. ||However this hotel is ALL about the views from the balconies that are truly stunning. See photos.||We ate the hotel restaurant and the dinner was excellent and the dining area is situated on a small private balcony that overlooks the ocean with views that are spectacular.||The breakfast was also excellent with a very good choice and lovely views with very good service.||Highly recommend and once in a lifetime place to visit.||Top Tip - Make sure you drive to the castle entrance on arrival and unload all your luggage, then contact the hotel to help with your luggage while your partner parks the car on the mile long road or at the free car park at the bottom. A beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. We stayed for two nights and had a fabulous time. The bedroom was elegantly decorated, spacious and had a balcony with fantastic views over the rooftops and of the sea. The hotel was clean and very well managed. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the restaurant. Breakfast was extensive and all options were included in the price. The evening meal was of an extremely high standard with an amazing wine menu. We sat on the balcony and had a good view of the hustle and bustle in the streets below, while enjoying the calm of the sea view. The hotel staff were all very friendly. We dropped our cases at the city gate and one of us waited with them while the other parked our car further down the road. We were met at the gate by a man who carried our cases to the hotel. After we checked out, the receptionist carried our cases for us and on the way to gate she picked up some bottles of cool water for our trip. Amazing customer service and a relaxing break. We will definitely be returning to this...

We are currently staying here for 3 nights and the place is amazing. The rooms are first class and we choose one of the top floor rooms and the views are just amazing. We ate at the restaurant on our first night and the food was delicious. The breakfast are also delicious and a very good choice.

Couple of top tips..

The parking on the main road is a bit hit and miss, so easier to park in the free car park and get the bus up and down. However it’s an easy walk without luggage.!

The lower town of Monemvasia is lovely but it was so hot during our visit so we went down to the local beach each day.
