New Paradise Beach Resort Mykonos — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

At first, we were given a so-called “deluxe” room that looked nothing like the photos. There was supposed to be an infinity pool, but instead the view was blocked by weeds and power lines. The room was dirty — especially the pool and shower area, which were in terrible condition. After staying for about 1–2 hours, I couldn’t take it anymore and spoke with the reception. After consulting the manager, they changed our room.

Thankfully, the new room was exactly as shown in the photos: clean, with a private infinity pool and a beautiful view. It was also much closer to the restaurant and the hotel’s main pool. I still don’t understand why they gave us the bad room first when the better one was clearly available. If you're booking a deluxe room, specifically ask for Room 415 — don’t trust the “deluxe” label blindly.

Breakfast was surprisingly good — several kinds of cheese and eggs, fresh fruits, granola, breads, etc. It was similar to a Turkish-style breakfast, and since I emailed ahead, they also provided gluten-free bread, which was a nice touch.

The location is fantastic. Tropicana Beach and Cavo Paradiso are within walking distance. Places like Scorpios are about 10 minutes away by car. There’s a small market nearby and even a bus stop for those without a car.

Room service was decent, but they didn’t bring orders to the room — we had to pick them up ourselves, which was a downside. Also, when we were checking out, the hotel manager asked, “Have you paid everything?” — which felt rude, especially since everything had already been settled at reception.

In short, the right deluxe room will give a very good experience, otherwise it is an above...

So fun! I had a really good time staying here! The club was great fun and the people were so lovely! My room was beautiful and the hotel in general was so welcoming! My room was very clean and the bathroom was very hygienic as well - my only issue was the shower, when you had a shower the whole room would be soaking wet from the condensation… but that wasn’t a massive issue as it would go away fairly quick. I had included breakfast and it was delicious, you had a reasonable selection of things to have and from what I tried if was all very yummy. The pool looked amazing - very clean and had the most amazing view of the sea! I would have loved to have gone in the pool but unfortunately we didn’t have the weather for it! We also experienced the club and the restaurant! WOW amazing food, great music and very good drinks. I would say very reasonably priced as well! I would most definitely recommend this hotel! Mykonos in general I would recommend! It’s absolutely beautiful! I would have loved to come in season! Although the staff said it gets super super busy - so if you prefer to have a more quieter relaxing experience at New Paradise Beach Resort I would recommend going out of season! - check the weather tho, as while we were there the weather was not very nice! This is the spot to stay on Paradise beach. Great views of the bay, classic Cycladic style architecture mixed with modern chic. Breakfast had a wide variety of options from fresh fruit, European breakfast staples, coffee, and local cuisine. Service is excellent as well, they provide a shuttle to and from the airport and port, however we were stuck at the port for awhile waiting for another ferry to come in, so there is that risk of maybe taking awhile to get to the hotel. Additionally to note: the beautiful common area with the pool does not allow outside food or drink. The room itself was beautiful overlooking the sea, however there are small things that might need attention like the broken shower head and small bugs- but that’s understandable since the door was open. Overall a good stay, expect loud music from the beach clubs...
