At a distance of 5 km from Mykonos Town is this beautiful little beach overlooking Cape Drapanos. North of it is the beach of Agia Anna of Paraga and one of the two organized camping sites on the island (the other is in Paradise).
Certainly, this is one of the most famous beaches of Mykonos. In reality however, Paraga consists of two beaches separated by a headland. The southern part is more crowded, while the northern part (Agia Anna of Paraga) is quieter. Its crystal waters combined with the rocky natural landscape will give you the feeling of being on a tropical beach. Also, from here you can see Naxos, Paros and Delos. In fact, every night, when the sun sets behind them, its sunset will impress you.
It has fine sand, sunbeds-umbrellas, beach bars, restaurants, etc. Many rocks in the sea create a natural platform for diving and diving. The beach is organized and popular with young people. Beach bars with loud music and restaurants create a fun atmosphere in a beautiful natural environment. Although relatively small in size, its clear blue waters and almost white sand make it stand out among the beaches of Mykonos and that is why it has won fanatical patrons.

Read moreThe beach itself is truly breathtaking, and it deserves a 5-star rating for its natural beauty. However, the unfortunate reality is that the surrounding bars have significantly tarnished this pristine environment. The most glaring issue is the outrageous pricing for sunbeds, with some beach clubs shamelessly charging around 200 EUR per bed. This kind of pricing is simply ridiculous and exploitative.
Even more disappointing is the presence of floating trash in the water. It's disheartening to witness such a lack of responsibility and care for the environment. If these establishments are willing to charge exorbitant amounts for sunbeds, the least they could do is invest in regular beach clean-ups to ensure a cleaner and more enjoyable experience for visitors.
In conclusion, while the beach itself is a natural gem, the irresponsible practices of the surrounding bars and the prevalent issue of trash diminish the overall experience. There is a dire need for these establishments to prioritize environmental preservation and provide fair pricing...
Read moreBeach was amazing , parking is a nightmare. We ended up parking near the Market Store in an unmarked parking spot . To only come back and have some young thug try and take 15 euro for parking after we already visited. Was a scary altercation and almost ended in violence if we didn't drive away quickly. Recommend staying away from this beach as there are way too many people , and the prices for anything are astronomically high . 210 euro for a lounge set of 2 chairs .. and minimum 80 euro per person . We ended up on the ground near the far right side and had a good time up until we left . Only reason I'll give this a few good stars is because the water was beautiful and so clear , there were also very little large rocks allowing you to get in the water anywhere . Also there were lots of small fish swimming around you, which was...
