Helmos Hotel & Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

We really wanted to love Hotel Helmos during our time spent in Naxos, it had a lot of really positive points: great bathroom, spacious room, wifi, proximity to the beach and Naxos town, however there were some things that really took the shine off of our stay. The room we were in was next to a noisy street, therefore if you are a light sleeper, bring along a pair of earplugs. Also, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. After you have settled down, the owner, Vassilis, sits you down to point out the must-dos on Naxos patiently. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Naxos and it was made even better due to the comfortable room and warm welcome we received from Vasilis, the hotel owner. He was informative and understanding when we arrived very late. The room is huge and the bed comfortable. The shower was a waterfall shower which was heaven to come back to after our sailing trip!
