Pizzadelia — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

My wife and I were walking around Naxos Town on the second night of our thirteen-night stay on the beautiful island of Naxos, looking for somewhere casual and nice to enjoy dinner.

The menu at Pizzadelia grabbed our attention. When I asked Savina (who later served us after we decided to dine there) if the crust was thin or thick, she answered, "You can have your choice," something we haven’t experienced in any other pizza restaurant.

Having had a late lunch, we decided to share a small, thin-crust vegetarian pizza and requested it to be cooked a little crispy.

What we were served was honestly and simply one of the nicest, freshest, and finest pizzas we have ever enjoyed, including during our seven visits to Italy.

What truly sets Pizzadelia above your average pizza restaurant is the quality, freshness, and wide variety of pizzas on offer.

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner at Pizzadelia so much that we returned not once, not twice, but six times (including once for lunch, where we were served by the wonderful and friendly Marta).

We found the entire team at Pizzadelia to be friendly, attentive, and helpful. In addition to Savina and Marta, we were served at various times by Gerasimos and Silda.

One evening, when I walked inside Pizzadelia (we chose to sit outside every single time), restaurant owner Manolis, who is a hands-on operator and obviously runs a very good business, introduced me to Violeta, who makes the delicious pizzas, and Mina, who makes the amazing pasta dishes (the fettucine with meatballs is a must-have at least once!).

Pizzadelia delivers outstanding value for money and is well worth a visit (or three).

We went here twice during our vacation in Naxos.

On the first trip, we had a decent time. The pizza was pretty good. There is also a large selection of beers.

The owner was very pleasant. His wife, who mostly served us, was very unpleasant - but we figured she was just having a bad day. We ate 90+ Euro worth of food and left a generous tip.

The second time we came - we ordered some of the same pizzas we ate the previous time and they simply didn't taste the same. It's like they used different, cheaper ingredients. The pasta tasted off.

The owner's wife was very unpleasant through the entire dinner. When it came time to pay she added a large tip to the credit card reader without adding it to our bill, despite the fact that we left a large tip in cash on the table. This is very dishonest behavior and we never visited this place again...

Went there by many recommendations from friends who visited Naxos, and after week of having delicious Greek food was craving something different 😋 1st of all - the products used in preparation of food were local and extremely fresh. Food was very tasty and every single dish was above our expectations. Was surprised by big choice of beers they offered - not only the basic ones, but also from small breweries and they suit well with our meal. Service was friendly and prompt, our questions were answered in nice and polite manner. The owner of the establishment was present, and we had even a small chat with him. Overall great experience and would recommend it to anyone without a doubt. Great value for your money too, generous portion made of local and high quality products. Will visit again when next time...
