Do not book this place!!!!! They lied about having AC and then refused to refund us $2,800 when we found out that there was no AC! Room was dirty and poorly maintained. Floors were filthy. ||Booked this place for our honeymoon via Expedia. We knew that the Greek islands are hot during the summer, so we booked because the listing said there was AC. We arrived two weeks ago for our 5 night stay, turned on the AC and went out to dinner. We came back 3 hours later at 8pm and the room was still stiflingly hot. The “AC” wasn’t working. When we talked to front desk, she said that HVAC is closed for the evening and she will try to find someone the next day. It was 30C full sun every day in Naxos, the room was very hot and stuffy and there was no way we were staying if we were promised AC and it didn’t work. We communicated this and she said that someone could suddenly come in 45 mins to an hour. The HVAC guy arrived and told us that the vents were incredibly dirty which affected airflow, but more importantly, the hotel cheaped out and did not actually purchase AC units. The units at the property are what he calls “clima”, which I assume means climate control, but he stated that this is not AC and that we should not expect the room to cool. The owner came by with a bottle of wine to apologize for the inconvenience, as if it would make up for no AC when the listing clearly stated AC. We booked another hotel immediately and left at 10pm after verifying with their HVAC guy that no fix was available. There’s no way we were going to stay in that extremely hot room with no AC for 6 days.||We thought that because it was clearly a bait and switch on their part and they were fully booked so they couldn’t put us in another room with actual AC, that we’d get a refund. However, Expedia has asked the owners multiple times and the owners have refused and said that the reservation is non-refundable. This is absurd as the lie about AC should’ve invalidated this “contract”. The owners took...

We booked this hotel based on the great advices but we left a bit disappointed, especially after our previous experiences in the Cycladic islands. On the good sides, the view is amazing and admiring the sunset from our outside space was great. The hotel location is also good and practical, not far from the port and all the restaurants and there is a small parking lot right beside the hotel. The room was nice and the bed very comfortable. There was even the possibility of choosing your pillow from a menu ! The ladies at the front desk were helpful with the car rental and gave us good spots to eat or visit. On the downsides, the breakfast was tasteless, the fridge was noisy and most important for us was the terrible phonic isolation with the other rooms. We could hear our neighbours walking, talking, answering their phones and even going to the bathroom ! The jacuzzi on the top floor was also loud and vibrating when being used. When we complained about the noise the hotel gave us a discount and a bottle of wine which is to be credited, but since we were looking for calm to relax, we ultimately decided to change our plans and leave one night early. My advice for this hotel would be to book a room upstairs if you seek...

This hotel has maybe the best view on the whole island. You can see Chora, the Aegean Sea, the port and the sunset watched from their pool is just amazing! The staff is the friendliest and nicest I ever saw in a hotel, they gave us good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. They also let us use the pool after the check out time as we have a late ferry. The room nicely decorated, spacious, clean and you have everything you need in it. The pool is nice, not too deep, with a bunch of sun beds and an incredible view. The breakfast was good, maybe the omelette could have been less salty. You also have a range of products to choose from, which is great. The breakfast can be served in the dinning space or in the room/on the balcony. We had it on the balcony as we wanted to enjoy the view a bit more and they served us the food quick and did not messes our order up. It was a pleasant stay :)

Illiada suites is in the most idyllic location in Naxos. The suites are on a cliff looking across the water and the temple of Apollo. The rooms were double storey with a nice lounge area and balcony. The stairs were very narrow to get downstairs and upstairs which made it a little tricky. The buffet breakfast was a bit lacklustre compared to other places we’ve stayed eg when yoghurt and eggs were run out it wasn’t replaced it was kind of a first in best dressed situation. The suites were a 10minute walk to the main port and about a 15-20min walk to the nearest beach. The receptionist was really lovely when we first met but seemed quite agitated with us the following day. The pool was also way too cold to swim in or use. The best part of this place was the beautiful cats they were so loving and gave so much love.

We recently stayed in the “Helen” suite. The customer service and accommodations far exceeded our expectations. We had a private hot tub on our balcony overlooking the sea and temple of Apollo. Perfect view of the sunset! The bed was comfortable and they even offered a pillow menu! The shower was large with rainfall shower head and access to very hot water (which I LOVE). The room was decorated tastefully. The breakfast was exceptional. We did request laundry service (at our own expense) and it was returned to us in a timely manner. My only regret with staying at Iliada is that we didn’t stay longer. I was highly impressed and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.
