We read the reviews and thought this would be a great place to have dinner. What a mistake. The food was terrible! Everything we ordered was hours if not days old. We started off with the fried zucchini squash (courgettes). They had obviously been fried hours before and reheated in the microwave as they were limp, soggy and tasteless. The main courses were braised veal in tomotao sauce and pork kontosouvli (grilled pork on the spit). The pork kontosouvli was room temperature, not hot and was obviously cooked days ago and slighly reheated. It had absolutley no flavor which required me to add a good amount of salt & pepper to make it eatible. The fried potatoes that came with the meal were also cooked hours prior and were limp, soggy and cold. The braised veal was actuially not veal but pieces of fatty beef made days before and reheated (slightly) and was accompanied by cold spaghetti. The grated cheese was good however. Being of Greek heritage, this restaurant is an embarassement to Greek cuisine. A huge disappointment and...
Read moreKozi in Naxos offers a delightful dining experience, particularly praised for its generous and flavorful meat platters. Guests rave about the Naxian salad, topped with a large serving of tangy Greek cheese, and the kebabs are consistently highlighted as amazing. Alongside these dishes, Kozi serves a generous portion of fries made from Naxian potatoes. The restaurant is well located, offering diners a stunning view of the ocean, enhancing the overall ambiance, especially during sunset. While the portions fairly large, providing great value, diners are advised to consider this when ordering to avoid waste. The combination of delicious food, generous servings, and the beautiful setting make Kozi a memorable spot. The staff were friendly and polite. Offering us a desert on the house was a very nice touch to round off the...

Delicious food, and good quantities.
I went my first day in Naxos, and returned the next as I enjoyed it so much. Both days I got the single mixed grill plate. SO GOOD! Meat included: pork chop, lamb chop, sausage, hamburger, and chicken. Meat came with fries, salad, seasoned rice, and a Spanikopita. Only 13€!! Crazy.
At the end, they give you a complimentary dessert. Milk pie, coconut cake, and a biscuit type dessert. I had coconut cake the first day (was so good - kind of like cornbread with coconut and a nice crust) and milk pie the next (also like cornbread, but more custardy and cinnamon/nutmeg-ey).
Definitely recommend, and wish I could get this...
