Porta Marina Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

My wife and I just completed our stay here while traveling for our 10 year anniversary. We travel often, and this was probably the nicest hotel experience we have ever had. It is more of a B&B, situated in the perfect location near the Naxos ferry terminal, the bus terminal, walkable anywhere in the Naxos chora, and near various rental car businesses. This place is beautiful. Maria, the owner, met us at the front door. We walked up to our unit. The building only has two units, both on the second floor. They are immaculate. Beautifully furnished and everything thing you can think of. A small stocked fridge, bathroom with all of the necessities, a large walk in shower you can sit in and be sprayed from multiple spouts. A small balcony looking out at the port across the street and the Temple of Apollo which is just a short walk away. You can watch the sunset over the Temple. We enjoyed our breakfast, delivered to us each morning in this small balcony. A larger balcony faces the town and has a nice two person hot tub. Maria gave us advice and directions and at the end of our stay, had a driver take us to the airport. ||Maria also arranged a rental car for us. The residence is a short walk from the ferry dock and is the first building at the beginning of the pedestrian street that has plenty of excellent Greek restaurants with the freshest seafood.||We can’t say enough of how welcome we were...

I had the most amazing experience at Porta Marina Suites from the moment I walked in the door. Maria was incredible, she couldn’t do enough, spoiling me with special desserts and snacks daily as well as personal delivery of 5 star breakfast daily.
