July 2019 saw my visit to the Garden Colors apartments in Sidari. I found them on a booking site and took a chance without much research. To help you out, I have a few key things that you must consider before choosing to stay here.||||There are 8 apartments in the Garden Colors Apartment. I stayed in one on the second floor with a view over the rooftops to the sea, but also onto one of the main roads into and out of Sidari - more of that soon. Mine was a 2 bedroomed apartment, 2 single beds, a private en-suite and small kitchen area with a fridge, oven/grill and some kitchen equipment and a breakfast bar set-up. There were french doors that opened onto a small balcony overlooking the road. Outside of the apartment there was a larger terraced balcony for anyone to use with a number of sun loungers out. ||||Deciding if this place is for you, some helpful views:||||1. The accommodation is very basic. MY front door did not close fully, the door appeared to be warped, which would lead to a draught in poor weather. The furniture seemed thrown together with what was left over, blinds went from top of the window frame to the floor in the bathroom.||2. These are not serviced apartments. There is no reception, the key was left at a nearby bar on arrival and no-one turned up to check me out when I left, despite a few text messages telling them I was going. There is a linen room with washing facilities for clothes, but you won't get fresh sheets or towels and you take your own rubbish out. You are able to use the pool of the nearby Legends Apartments and they do have a cafe-bar a few metres down the road, handy for cooked breakfast and other meal options. ||3. The apartments are on a busy main road into Sidari. Walking into Sidari or even the nearby supermarket involves walking in the road, as there are no pavements. Consider this if mobility is an issue or you have pushchairs. Whilst most drivers gave pedestrians a wide berth, the route is used by lorries and coaches and the walk can be quite hairy at night. Its about 300 metres into Sidari and maybe 100 metres to a nearby mini supermarket. ||4. My apartment had a shower, of sorts. More a shower head attachment, a few feet from the ground and a large tray, no shower curtain. It meant that the bathroom became a bit of a wet room, intended or not. ||5. The location is quiet - you're away from the strip and the raucous bars, not far from the beaches (but along that road) and the shared spaces are well kept and pleasant.||||If it's just somewhere to crash, certainly give it...

Read moreElavult,leélt,koszos. Egy hetet voltunk ott, abból 3 nap ért minket valami. Vihar miatt elment az áram, azzal nincs is baj mert megesik,de még aggregátor sincs,és a víz szívattyúról megy. Mit mondjak a gyereknek? Legalább víz lenne áramszünet esetén a gyerekek miatt. Azt se tudod következő nap mi várható....
