Difficult one to rate this. Very basic hotel but obviously I knew this as per 2 star rating. As everyone has said, staff are lovely and the hotel is kept spotlessly clean- inside and out. Couple of gripes. 1) Breakfast...We only ended up getting it twice. It finishes at 10am on the dot. You're on holiday, late nights etc so a 10.30 finish would have been better, especially as the pool doesn't open till 10.30. I came down one morning at 9.40. No eggs, no yoghurt, no fruit and 3 pieces of cake left. Went outside with my toast and coffee, daughter followed me down and said very little was left (so obviously not replenished the table) but that the lady had just put a fresh pot of coffee out. Went back in at 9.55 to be told no coffee as it finishes at 10!! I did try to say it wasn't quite 10am, but she was having none of it!! I was amazed as she had obviously taken a nearly full pot back into the kitchen! What a waste! Rooms...very basic which is fine but beds rock hard and practically on the floor. No overhead shower, just the shower resting on a tap. Easy to fix this by sticking a shower hook up and it would make it so much easier all round. AC didn't work after paying over 55 euros on arrival. They did fix it quickly thankfully as it was 37 degrees, but it still wasn't fully working, but I couldn't be bothered to raise it further. Storage very limited, only 2 tiny drawers to put your bits and bobs in but big wardrobe. The guests...no fault of hotel but there were two families with small children. There is nothing there for them to do except disturb everyone around the small pool playing ball, on floaters etc and making lots of noise. They're kids, I get it, but it's really not the place for a mainly adult/couples hotel. Consider making it adult only perhaps? We ended up at the beach most days to avoid them and i know other couples did the same as they were cheesed off with the noise too. The area...the hotel is a good walk away and although the gardens are lovely, the road outside is a bit rough. You have to navigate a blind bend in the road, then a little mad junction. It gave the three of us some laughs and terrifying moments crossing over to walk down to the main strip. Beach is nice. Recommend Roxannes. Sunbeds free if you spend 15 euro per couple. We easily spent this with not eating in the hotel. The resort is nice, plenty of shops, bars, restaurants etc but nowhere is amazing for dinner. All much of a muchness but best one was Sea port. There is a cut through by the moped and bike place, which saves a bit of time getting to the beach and the main area. Heard a lot of complaints from restaurant owners not liking card payments and preferring cash due to high taxes from Greek government, so something to consider maybe. This is sad for them but shouldn't be put on the tourist by making them feel bad for using their Monzo card, for example. We had a great time having said all of the above, you will too, for sure. I've been all over Greece, Love Greece and the people and will return.

Booked in for a 10 night getaway to Roda, Corfu and stayed at the Hotel Milton. We were so well looked after, the hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained, the room was very basic (we knew this in advance) but we still had a small balcony looking out at the (excellent) pool and had planned Roda as a base to explore so it fit our bill nicely. Breakfast of eggs, ham, cereal, fruit, toast, cheese, jam, teas, coffee, juice etc to set you up for the day. Plenty to see and do locally also and only a 5 minute walk to come across some excellent restaurants, entertainment and bars We were delayed arriving due to a late flight which meant we arrived at the Milton in the early hours, the door was left open, our key and a little note on the front counter waiting for us, lovely touch Really enjoyed our time there

The hotel is located in a dodgy area of Corfu. The beach located near the hotel isn't something special. When the air blows towards the beach is very dirty and smelly during the nights.

All the hotel inside has a very bad smell. It smells a combination of humidity and chlorine. The furniture and aesthetic is outdated, the rooms are very small and also the toilet of the rooms. Τhere isn't even enough space to sit on the toilet bowl. Apart from hand shampoo, no other cleaning materials are provided for the toilet When someone makes a shower, the bathroom gets fool of water, because the shower curtain is too short. At nights someone cannot sleep, because there are a lot of mosquitos and flies which enter the room, since there isn't a protection in the windows. The swimming pool is not tactically cleaned. Most of the times there are leaves and sand in the bottom of the pool. The operating hours of the pool are narrow.

The breakfast is very poor with cheap materials I.e concentrated juices. The manager is rude and not willing to hear any complaints. In case of black out there is no electricity generator. A lot of stuff in the hotel malfunction or operates with a problem (noisy fridge, bread...

This hotel is spotlessly clean, the owner Alexander is so welcoming, kind and helpful, always on hand to assist you. The breakfast is continental, lots on offer, eggs, ham, cheese, toast, cereals, yogurt, fruit plus more! There is lots of choice. The coffee however was not great. The hotel is in a great location, 10 minutes to the beach, supermarkets just a couple of mins walk. Lovely clean room, towels replaced and bedding replaced regularly. Hairdryer in the room and the fridge in the room was great for storing water and snacks! Lovely balcony great for drying towels and chilling, north facing so in the shade when we got home from the beach, perfect ! Nearly forgot the pool, absolutely gorgeous, very quiet, this hotel is the perfect location if you like a quiet holiday! Oh you will need the air conditioning if you are staying in the height of summer, it's 10 euro per day, well worth it ! We would 100% stay here again. we had a fabulous...
