We visited on a night when there looked like there were "staff shortages" however we were amazed at the waiters calm approach to the situation.We were welcomed and offered menus quickly. Our house wine was served and we had time to look at the menu whilst the poor man rushed around assuring everyone was attended to. We ordered our food and sat back to wait as we viewed the bustle around us. We were actually served within a normal waiting time. The food was really tasty and we all enjoyed what we had ordered. Although we don't stay in Roda any more we always drive up for a visit. This year I had beef on the bone and I have never had it before. Itsi was gorgeous and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband always goes for the pork chop which is his favourite from here. The house wine is a lovely wine and highly recommended but I have the medium which is slightly sweet. Id say a lot of the restaurants in town are similar, family run and authentic to some extent, but this felt different. The flesh of the fish was white and flakey, giving it a lot of juice and then the skin.
