The Olive Grove has so much potential to be brilliant but sadly it's just not there at the moment. The location, at the quiet end of Canal D'Amour, was perfect and the pool is a great size. Everyone there was extremely friendly which is a massive plus. Pool bar and snacks were great, and the BBQ night was fun. Breakfast was basic but saved you having to get anything from the supermarket which was helpful. There's a small beach nearby and plenty of coffee shops, bars and restaurants.||Unfortunately, there's just a few too many things that weren't great to give it a higher rating. Our patio door didn't lock and despite raising it was never fixed. Cleaners were hit and miss, we had our bins emptied every day but others didn't, beds were meant to be changed once a week but we were there 10 days and it was never done. Our floor was mopped twice but sink never cleaned. In the evenings the bathroom smelled very strongly of drains which wasn't pleasant. Very small balcony and despite a rack, none of our swim stuff got dry on there at all.||The sunbeds were the most uncomfortable sunbeds I've ever had on a holiday which was a shame. TUI advertise this as having a whirlpool bath- it does but is never turned on! Some of what the other reviews have said we found true- if you're spending money at the bar you're part of the crew but if not you're largely ignored. This doesn't bother us but might some people. ||At the end of the day it's a Greek 2 star so you don't expect luxury but I would argue TUI have...

Literally on your door step aswell as a small super market, restaurants also a short walk away the strip is open is only a 10 min walk away. This was our first time here and we will be definitely returning. |The only cons where the mozzies they are evil (everywhere) so go prepared. And they could do with with having a bit of fruit at breakfast. |All staff are friendly enough. |This hotel is very quiet so if you’re wanting somewhere that has stuff going on all the time then this hotel probably isn’t for you. But if you wanting somewhere chilled and relaxing then this...
Read moreGood points first: Nice, well kept pool area. No sunbeds wars. Good location within Canal D Amour area. Breakfast not too bad.|Now the negatives: Room seemed half finished. Bathroom mouldy and dirty and prone to flood. Toilet seat did not fit and was loose, flush button broken. Beds and pillows very hard and uncomfortable. Not enough equipment in kitchen (three of us and only two plates, two glasses, etc). No cooking utensils. Hotplate which could not be used due to dangerous plug (see picture). Terrace RIGHT by busy pool, so no privacy there at all.|We saw other people with much nicer, modernised studios in the same block. They seemed to be known to the owners.|Bedding meant to be changed weekly, but wasn't changed once during our two week stay.|Lots of birds nesting in the restaurant, flying around and crapping as people ate.|Staff entered our room when we were out and left the sliding door open. Complete security risk.|We witnessed bar prices seemingly being made up on the spot.|We would return to Sidari, but would not recommend this...
