Let me Start with saying nice but I know if food is good or not. I can distinguish well if it’s just the vibe or if it’s a serious experience. The area this restaurant is located is intensely touristic (and quite annoying imho) so we took a bit to figure out the best spots. It’s always busy but they always find a table for you if you’re willing to wait a bit. So I’m here to tell you: this is best of the best you can find in Corfu. Very tasty traditional dishes, good sizes and good prices (given its touristic) and seriously healthy products. You can tell they know what they’re doing, these dishes are full of herbs and delicate well balanced tastes. I was excited even with a salad (the thalassino salad, try it you’ll thank me) the taste of the caperssss! The products they have are so high quality to put this in the 💎 of restaurants I’ve been to in my life!! And I’m italian! I definitely would come here all the time if I was from Corfu.
We went back a few times during our stay because even tho it’s nice to try different things while traveling there is nothing compared to this place in my opinion and I’ve done my fair share of traveling around the world. I’m vegetarian and they have stuff for you even if you’re vegan, same goes for gluten free given most stuff is vegetables and cheese. One amazing dish is the vegetarian imam, seriously, mouth watering. My bf had meat and fish and he was very satisfied especially with the prawns. He also really liked the courgettes balls ✨also a traditional Greek starter. The staff is brilliant, friendly and makes you feel at home. General vibe perfect to me. Lots of plants a bit shabby chick, but don’t let it fool you into thinking it’s not special, this place is a gem of flavors. We usually take three dishes in total so we never overspent or overate which is nice for dinner to stay light but feel satisfied. Thank you so much for the hospitality as well, it was a pleasure to eat here and be of support of your brilliant work. Keep it up the world doesn’t have enough of places...
Read moreThis place is just superb! We loved it so much we ate here every day of our holiday in Sidari. (6 days in a row!) It's a relaxed seafood taverna with gorgeous decor, a lovely place to take your time eating and drinking.
The waitress was so lovely, kind and always smiling, I will miss seeing her every day! The owner was also so friendly and checks in to make sure the customers are happy.
They work so hard here! They didn't have a day off the whole time we were there doing lunch and dinner service every day. Everything is cooked fresh to order so don't come expecting fast food. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and the best seafood you will ever eat!
The highlights for me were the grilled prawns, swordfish steak and the whole sea bass. Cooked to perfection!
We also loved the sardines, thalassino salad, beetroot salad, the grilled vegetables are sooooo so good and it's lovely that they serve a lot of the seafood with a potato salad or tabouleh.
It's a new business and I know they will thrive!
Thanks again for taking such good care of us, Maddie and Iain from...
Read moreThe food was absolutely outstanding and truly a 10/10. This was probably one of the best fish meals I have ever had. From the perfectly prepared Greek zucchini to the whole fish and the stuffed squid, every dish was spectacular. Compliments to the chef for delivering such memorable flavors. We will remember this meal for a long time. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. The restaurant was full but there was only one person taking orders and another handling tables. We waited about 15 minutes just to place our order and at the end of the meal we had to call for attention several times, which left us feeling a bit forgotten. It was clear that the staff were working hard and doing their best but they simply needed more help. With more staff or fewer tables the experience would have been much smoother. In the end the incredible food made up for the service issues and we are very grateful to the chef for creating such a memorable...
