Hotel Ilios — Hotel in Municipality of Paxos

This hotel is in a great location in Lakka, just a minute walk to the main square and to the sea front, with amazing views of the bay from the roof top terrace. Our room on the first floor was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely shower that always had hot water. The balconies on the first floor rooms don't have great views and are extremely small, but having the use of the roof top terrace makes up for this. There is also a terrace on the second floor that has two tables, which is a lovely place to have your breakfast. The buffet breakfast is nice with a selection of cereals, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, bread, cheese, ham. The staff were all so lovely, friendly and helpful. A lovely family run hotel by the harbour in Lakka. Andreas and his team are very welcoming and can help advise on trips and activities whilst staying on Paxos. The rooms are modern, roomy and kept very clean with the balconies facing the harbour as well as the village. A good selection of food at breakfast is available. There are several beaches close by and walking trails to explore the local area. The village has a good variety of shops and restaurants. I can highly recommend Amvosia restaurant for great home cooked food at a reasonable price and the jewellery shop where they sell their handmade jewellery. The location of the property is excellent, very central and convenient, with everything we needed just a short walk away including the beach and great restaurants. From the first moment we arrived the staff and Andreas made us feel truly welcome, everyone was so kind and attentive and it really added to the whole experience. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of tasty and fresh options that gave us a perfect start to the day.

The area around the property is also very charming, with picturesque streets and a relaxed atmosphere, and we really enjoyed exploring the nearby beaches and local food spots. Overall our stay was even better than we imagined, and I would be happy to recommend this place to friends and to anyone...
