We have come to Paxos on and off for over twenty years and this is one of our favourite places to eat absolutely cannot fault anything about it. However, tonight we witnessed the rudest of diners (shame on you) and I hate to say it but they were British. An elderly couple who complained about one of the waiters being rude. Rude staff and terrible experience – ruined our birthday lunch

From the start, they told us they only accept cash, but we had no other choice – all nearby restaurants were closed and we were in a rush to catch our cruise.

We didn’t have enough cash for a full meal or even water. Instead of being understanding, the waiter was extremely rude. He shouted at us and mocked us, making the whole situation even more stressful.

It was supposed to be a special birthday lunch, but it turned into a humiliating and upsetting experience. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable.

We discovered the place by accident and just loved it! The food was a bit expensive (as in the rest of the island, actually, so not surprised), though the quality of the food and the cooking were amazing! The eating area is in the backyard, the ground is fully covered in stones or in wood, with beautiful flowers and decor that give the restaurant the full summer vibe we needed. The light breeze made our evening in the restaurant added even more to our experience. Last but not least, the ladies running the place were very friendly and accommodating.
