Paxoimadi — Restaurant in Municipality of Paxos

Had a very late lunch or early dinner of you wish. Salads were amazing and both the anchovies as well as the sardines were great. Portions were generous and taste was amazing. The service was fast and overall excellent and the prices reasonable in a location which it is obvious is quite popular for visitors. Left very satisfied.

Update after 2nd visit: Today we had early dinner and tried the meat plates as well as some different salads. The taste was great. The service excellent and the portions of very respectable size- to the extend that we did not manage to finish it all although we were two fairly hungry persons. Just to add that apart from the convincing quality of the food at Paxoimadi, we appreciated the overall quality of the dinner there, the music and the spot. This place screams it is not built and run as a goldmine aiming at the occasional tourist but rather a place that deserves to be chosen and revisited by returning customers. Great job guys and girls running it! We are very happy to have dinned there.

PS: after a week in the islands this has been the only restaurant that has offered a desert at the end of the dinner - Fresh refreshing...

Unfortunately I was unable to try the food but maybe I would have been able to if the staff were more accommodating to its customers… I drove to this restaurant the other evening and waited outside for the staff member to come to speak to my partner and I. After around 5 minutes of trying to catch the waiters attention, a man came up to us and said good evening. After asking if we had a booking, which we did not, we answered “no, would you have a table for 2?” To which he arrogantly responded “so no” and walked away and shook his head. We were left confused and ignored by the other waiters.

Despite us being unaware of the restaurant’s popularity and the need to book a table in advance, I found this service shockingly rude. My partner and I were shocked and disappointed for the rest of our evening.

We decided not to book for another night to visit given the service we received and would rather spend our money elsewhere! I hope this restaurant reconsiders its staff’s manners because this will drive...

The first day of my vacation I did the mistake to choose this restaurant to eat. I ordered chicken fillet and at the first bite it really tasted weird and it smelled very weird. To be honest it had a smell like public toilets. I got sick just afterwards and had a stomachache. It destroyed my trip to Paxos and when I got home I went to the hospital. Last but not least the black hair waitress was very unkind. The first time she asked us if we were ready to order we asked to give us minute. Then we asked from another waitress to take order and she called the unkind waitress to come to our table. Do you want to hear what she responded? "No, not now I will come later" Considering we were the only customers there in the evening I think that this behavior was dissappointing. I wish I had the time to sue them. Greetings from...
