Orkos beach — Attraction in Peloponnese, Western Greece and the Ionian

Beautiful beach. Sun or shade can be found throughout the day just a few metres away from the waters edge. Never too crowded due to its location. Be sure to take your own food and water as there's nowhere to buy anything (thank goodness) and please, please take your rubbish home with you! Fantastic beach! It is a bit difficult to reach from Lakka due to some steep hills. I don’t recommend the walk for people with walking limitations or very young kids. The water is amazing and the feeling is very peaceful. It is totally worth the hike.

We were there for 3 days, very good location, home made breakfast with variety, staff are very friendly and helpful, specially Kiriaki, George and Anna at the front desk. The rooms are so cute and clean, we had a beach view room and it was worth it. One of the best beaches, Mikri Vigla, is 5 minutes away and it’s protected from the wind.
