We spent two weeks here 17th - 31st August and we are hoping to book again! ||The hotel itself is great. We stayed in room 715 which had a good sized balcony, steps straight to the jasmin pool, it was cleaned daily and was a good size for our family of 5. I appreciated being in this part of the hotel as I like quiet & loved the flowers! If anyone sees the little tabby cat outside the side door please give her a little cuddle from us, we all fell in love with her! And left her a dish for her food. ||The lady at the Jasmin pool bar was just amazing! The food was great for lunch and reasonably priced at both pool bars. The Greek salad & gyros was a firm favourite.||I know a message went out re sunbeds but I can honestly say we didnt have an issue. We slept in a few days until around 10am and still managed to get sunbeds around the octopus pool, which kept the sun all day. And we got beds around the palm pool after 10am once too. ||The TUI rep Karla was great sorting out a trip that was cancelled due to the sea being too choppy & also helped us to our room as we had a lot of luggage. ||The location of the hotel is ideal as its far enough to be quiet but only a short walk to the beach front and a little further for the center (which we didn't mind at all as its just so beautiful). There is a great shop on site but also a supermarket a 5min walk away that we found so handy! ||Fresh corner on the beach front is so worth a visit too, we went there often.||The only very small comments I would suggest are that the toilet paper holder being in the shower cubicle isnt great. The paper got soaking and the floor mats need to be much bigger as it gets super slippy in the bathroom, we placed towels on the floor as the little one kept slipping and felt guilt for having to have them changed daily as a result.||The little book shelves and being able to swap my book with another was such a lovely touch!!!!! ||The holiday blues are the biggest downside from staying here! I'm normally desperate to get home from a holiday as I like my comforts but I didnt want to leave this one! ||Thank you for a wonderful...
Read moreWe have travelled so many places in the world and never thought we would be the people who return to one hotel when there are so many out there to experience. But, after visiting Ibiscos Garden we are very tempted to re-book for next year. The hotel is clean, well looked after, it has 3 large pools and 2 small baby pools, a bar area doing happy hour twice a night and main restaurant area. Very good air con in the bedrooms and all amenities you'd need in the rooms, 2 large indoor play areas (1 is a soft play), takeaway service from the restaurant, pool bar serving really good food and cocktails, onsite shop. Every night seemed to be an entertainment night (Greek night was our favourite) hot and cold breakfast buffet had lots of choices Inc a gluten free section, the evening meals were lovely, good variety of cocktails and beers. No sunbed wars as we went the last week in June before the schools broke off. Easy parking around the front and back if you hire a car. Supermarket is a few minutes walk down the road. The beach is also a few minutes walk, our room had a sea view so you could watch the paragliders which was fun. Everything was reasonably priced. One of the best parts of the holiday was the staff, everyone we met was so kind and friendly. The lady at the pool bar was so sweet and caring to our little girls. The gentleman who ran the restaurant bringing us beers when the takeout pizza took a while made our night. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a good holiday. It really was one of the best holidays we've been on and we hope to come...
Read moreWe have just come back from a week at the hotel . We had a studio room 215 overlooking the pool near the main restaurant. The rooms are basic but you have what you need. We slept with the aircon on and the fan which was no problem . We had no problem with getting a sunbed and usually didn’t get to the pool until after 10am. Yes beds are reserved early but there are a stack of beds that you can pick from and place where you need . If there’s a specific place you would like then get down there early . Every part of the pool gets the sun eventually throughout the day . The onsite supermarket is well stocked and there are plenty of supermarkets on the seafront . Breakfast is €14 and plenty to choose from. Lunch & Dinner is off the menu . If you decide to eat out you will be spoilt for choice . We ate out every night and especially liked Nostos which is round the corner from the hotel . The walk into the old town is about 20ish minutes and again some fantastic restaurants and cocktail bars . The one at the start of the harbour was very good . The restaurants do prefer cash but will take card. Just a heads up that the walk into the old town is into the sun and hot . Would we stay again? Most definitely. It’s a 3 star hotel we used as a base to explore. Don’t expect thrills but if you want a clean hotel with exceptional staff then give it a try . A special mention to Anna on reception . If you want any advice on what to do and see while you’re there then she is your lady .
Travelled from 4th to 11 July . 2 adults...
