We booked this as a last minute holiday and came for 7 nights All Inclusive the first week in June.||The hotel itself is very well located, it’s only a 15/20 minute walk into the town of Kremasti and a 20 minute taxi ride into Rhodes town. The sea/ Beach is on your doorstep, but be warned that it is pebbled and the hotel does not have beach beds, however you can rent them for €4 a day from a lovely beach bar just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. ||The staff are very welcoming, the reception staff, housekeeping team and bar staff are all truly a credit to this hotel, very polite and helpful and always have a smile on their face. ||When we first arrived there was fresh fruit, a bottle of wine and bottled water in the room. And the day before checkout a package with local honey and Greek snacks were left in the room with a card from the management team which is a nice touch. ||The rooms, our room was a superior swim up room, now I have mixed feelings with the room, the swim up pool is to die for and is beautiful, the deck chairs outside are very comfy, the shower in the room was very powerful and the bed was big and comfy. The only few issues I have are, it’s a “superior” room, when we have had these before you get a few little extras like bath robes and slippers, maybe this could be looked into? As it was a lovely room but other than the pool outside wasn’t superior in my opinion but did it have all we needed? Yes, was it comfy and spacious? Yes. That’s all you really need from a room in honesty. ||The room had a fridge, hairdryer and safe, I appreciate the safe had no extra charge but it wasn’t fixed down or screwed back so I kept my money on me as someone could have just carried the safe away so it seemed pointless. ||Sunbeds and main pool, rest assured, this is finally a hotel where you don’t need to get up at 6am for a bed, there is always plenty of availability throughout the day, on our last day we checked out at 11 and got a bed right by the pool no problems. The Main pool is large and heated which is always lovely. There are also three water slides that are very fun to have a go on that you can use throughout the day. ||Drinks, the choice of all inclusive cocktails was very good and very tasty, the fresh juices during the day were lovely and refreshing and there was plenty of option alcohol wise. ||Food, this is sadly where the review takes a bit of a bad turn, there really wasn’t much wow factor at this hotel with regards to food, chips at every meal, the breakfast had pancakes and croissants but nowhere to make toast which I found bizarre? The lunch was basic with loads of salad and veg but could have done with just something people can grab quick like burgers or hotdogs, don’t need fancy pasta at lunch when people are nipping in from the pool. That being said dinner was the biggest let down, not really any themes at all, myself and my wife ate out 3 nights as we came to Greece to enjoy Greek food which there wasn’t much in the hotel, very catered for Germans in all honesty. ||Other amenities, the evening entertainment is good but not many seats in the main area so if you want a good view you need to be seated at about 7:30/8 ready for it to begin at 9:30. There is also a games area with a few machines and a pool table by the main bar. ||Shops, there’s not loads nearby but is a large supermarket/ souvenir shop just a few minutes away which is very good. ||All Inclusive: I personally in my opinion after having stade at both all inclusive and half board hotels truly don’t believe this hotel is all inclusive, the website which states “snacks available” it is a freezer with ice cream you can grab yourself or a fridge with a sliding door with 10 or so sandwiches with no labels so you don’t know what your getting. So if you are used to having a hot dog or nuggets from the pool bar this isn’t the hotel for you. ||In conclusion, I would stay at this hotel again but only if they offered a half board or bed and breakfast option, as the food and snack options were very limited and not really what I’d expect at a 4* hotel. ||The staff should be proud of the service they themselves provide and with a few tweeks to the rooms and the item they offer it could be the...
Read moreSorry its long winded but.... there is no way this hotel is worth £100+ per night as advertised. We arrived at our hotel at 1.45am and were shown to our room. The receptionist said there were plates of food in our room due to the late arrival. We were taken to our room and we saw the plates of food (pork?, cheese and olives) which had been left out in the warm room for an unknown amount of time, However as we attempted to lock the door we discovered the lock was broken. We were moved to another room where the door stuck slightly but locked. We found two further plates of food which had been left out in the warm room, again, for an unknown amount of time and as we were informed we were the last people to arrive that night, needless to say we decided not to eat this. . The main communal areas of the hotel looked impressive however as our stay progressed it became apparent that the rushed renovations of the hotel had been completed to a poor standard. We noticed the following: Furniture in our room had been badly spray painted on the outside only (leaving overspray on the inside which looked unsightly and at a quick glance looked like mould). Unfinished mastic seal around the shower Parts of the bathroom mirror had been glued on with mastic which oozed out of the joints across the glass The bathroom ceiling was brown and had mould spots on it, which looked like it had been unfinished/unpainted compared with the rest of the bathroom Tiles were chipped around the bathroom door frame The fridge had been built into a cabinet which was too tight to easily open the door. If you weren’t careful you could leave the door open if you didn’t push it with a reasonable amount of force. Our balcony door had no handle on the outside so if you closed the door fully, it was difficult to re-open and the only way to do this was to push the glass with your hands. Our balcony was not cleaned as you will see this from the picture of the large clump of someone’s hair which remained there for the duration of our stay. Rotten timbers on our balcony, which held the glass panels, had been painted rather than replaced. The corridor leading to our room had grey wooden panels which were attached with screws, some of which still had snapped off screws sticking out of the boards. These had also been used to cover up holes instead of repairing the wall. As the panels weren’t wide enough the holes remained visible and unsightly. Signs around the pool indicating depth hardly visible, The pool itself also needs some attention as the paint is peeling off the tiles at the bottom. no sun loungers on the beach as advertised on website the ‘gym’ is a joke The food quality in the hotel is repulsive. Scrambled eggs at breakfast were saturated in liquid Sausages cut down to make them go further and were dried out Rubbery Egg omelette and due to its thickness had to be cut (approx 2 ½ inches thick) Croissants which were sat in the steam hot plate, soggy and inedible The Bolognese sauce was tasteless and watery Breakfast cereal tasted stale beef and onion dish which was incredibly salty which made us feel sick The pineapple had a strange taste, tasted like onion . Overall the selection of food was limited and of poor quality, as a result we ended up eating out more and didn’t make full use of the All Inclusive package. Therefore our break cost us considerably more than we had anticipated as we didn’t feel the hotel was good value for money. the animation team annoying when they kept switching tracks during songs Guest relations manager who we found to be very pushy , after we explained our issues she admitted rooms aren’t checked and she could 'change the food overnight'
The ‘renovations’ (just painting over something isn’t classed as renovations) have been badly done This place needs closing down and redoing again to a higher standard if they want to charge ridiculous prices per night and the reviews im reading on here must be from either staff and friends or some very bleary eyed people, We’ve attached some pictures which...
Read moreDon't you dare come. this hotel for those lacking standards, my opinion is detailed. For those who are in doubt, I will shorten it in two words: a cat in a bag, it means run away
The reason my brother and I came to this particular hotel is only because it is close walking distance to the Kite Surfing Club and therefore we chose it. If you don't come for that, I don't recommend it.
The hotel staff is cute, not very smiling except for the hostesses at the reception who are very helpful and smiling and always looking to help you. Most of the guests in the hotel are old couples, there are hardly any young people. Overall, the hotel has a very good potential if only the rooms were a little cleaner and newer, there were some small things that are significant that made us disappointed.
Disadvantages
3 star all inclusive hotel under pressure which is far from the city, a 20-minute taxi ride, price between 20-25 euros each way. (Planes pass right over the hotel, a loud noise every half hour or so, so consider bringing earplugs at night to sleep) The hotel area is not very developed, even a little neglected Areas of the hotel such as dining room and lobby are not air conditioned At first we got a room with beds not according to what was promised on the website, we turned to the reception, in the end they fixed the matter. We took a room with a "private" pool outside, The pool is not private, it is a shared pool space, there is a wooden bridge that supposedly separates and this is the partition. Unclean rooms!!! There is a broken water drain button in the shower The design of the room is very old-fashioned, simple and basic, there is a small refrigerator, a TV that is flimsy and irrelevant, a body mirror just stuck on the side and not hanging, a kettle, a cupboard and another chair that has nothing to do with anything, there is a curtain in the room that does not make it dark enough, so for those who have a problem with light, bring an eye shield. There is no blanket but a white sheet, in short you will freeze at night The sheets are not changed at all during the entire stay at the hotel. The central pool of the hotel is large but there are not enough sunbeds The cups they serve cold and hot drinks drip from the bottom. Towels for the pool - you get a towel for two days, they don't change every day, there was a day when there was a shortage of towels. Gym- Not really a gym, basically they put 3 machines in the entrance room to the spa, no air conditioning. Food- The food is low level, my brother and I have no problem with food and even we had a hard time, this is not food suitable for picky people. Basic breakfast, lunch and dinner are pretty similar. The vegetables in the meals are not fresh and the food is covered in oil. Cats outside walk between your legs and the waiters don’t care about the subject.
advantages
10 minutes from Rhodes airport. The hotel has a car and motorcycle rental company. Two minutes walk there is a mini supermarket that has everything. From the hotel there is an exit path directly to the beach adjacent to the hotel. There is a nice sunset afternoon. There is an air conditioner that works well in the room. There is a bar in the pool area that serves hot and cold drinks, ice cream and snacks. There are 2 nice slides. The central pool of the hotel is large There is an entertainment team that does cute sessions and also water fitness training There is an area adjacent to the dining room and one snooker table There are some machines like in an arcade with money of course
In conclusion, you have 2 reasons to come to the hotel: The first if you come to do kite surfing and take into account the disadvantages. The second reason is that you have no standards. The overall...
