L & C Boutique Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

We booked our holiday to Rhodes 12 hours before we flew out and it was the best decision! Even spur of the moment, we arrived and Zafeira welcomed us and settled us in to our beautiful apartment. I had stupidly left the keys at home and she even helped us to get back into our suitcase.

Greeted with a welcome basket with fresh eggs and other little traditional Greek goodies. A well equipped kitchen to make breakfast, lunch or dinner with a lovely secluded balcony over looking the mountains of Filerimos. A spacious and comfortable king bed, modern, clean styling throughout and even a large rain shower that was perfect for cooling off after a long day of exploration.

The room isn't just a room. It's a little home from home - perfect for us, a young couple wanting to explore the island. Cleaned daily and with the team on hand, Zafeira, Anna and Voula were always willing to to help. The apartment was always spotless! Air conditioning is included and keeps the room very cool in the summer heat. The small apartment blocks and grounds are really well kept and the pool is perfect in size with a pool bar for refreshments - you feel like you are enjoying your own private villa - absolute bliss.

The apartments themselves are located just outside of Kremasti so you can either go to the nearby town or beach, chill by the pool or take a bus into Rhodes Old Town. The island itself is small so it's well worth we hiring a car to get around easily and explore. It's a stunning island - you have culture, the beautiful Rhodes Town harbour, the newer shopping areas and many other beauty hotspots that are worthy of making it onto your Instagram feed!

I've never left a review before but I had to leave one for here as this has been the best holiday by far. And hands down it was all thanks to them, their kind generosity, helpful hints and tips of where to go on the island and the beautiful apartment that is of exceptional quality. Where do I start?

Before arriving I was added into a WhatsApp chat with Antonis, where he sent directions to the hotel from the airport, and let us know we could contact him if we needed. I also had to change the initial booking date due to issues with flights, in which Antonis was very accommodating and gave us a free upgrade for the last night.

We were welcomed with open arms after a late arrival following a delayed flight, and Antonis quickly showed us to our room and let us sort payments in the morning.

He then immediately sent a link through WhatsApp for breakfast ordering to the room (a very extensive list), which was very easy to use.

The pool was very luxurious, with comfy beds and an excellent bar menu, with amazing cocktails and food. All of which gets added to a tab which is paid at the end of the week, so you won’t have to worry about bringing cash down to the pool. We had the pool to ourselves a couple of times too which was lovely!

Antonis also sent us restaurant and bar recommendations via WhatsApp throughout the week we stayed here, and we were not disappointed.

Whilst in Rhodes, we visited the Old Town (20-25 minute drive and 20 euros in the taxi), Anthony Quinn Bay (25 minute drive and 27 euro in the taxi) and restaurants nearby.

We were unsure how to book taxis, however Antonis assured us that we just had to message him on WhatsApp and he would book them.

The apartments were so clean and comfortable, and also had a smart TV with Netflix, which was ideal for the mornings before going out for the day or to the pool.

There were so many lovely little gestures, such as bringing fresh eggs from their chickens up to the room for breakfast (free of charge), and on the last night we were given some homemade Mastiha (alcohol) which was lovely.

The staff were all so friendly, and really made it feel like home. We can’t wait to come back here, and if you are deliberating about coming, don’t! Book the trip and...

Typing this while wishing I was still at L&C! I was drawn to book there based on the reviews I had read, and also as a solo female traveller, I wanted somewhere I could make some of my own meals, relax by the pool, as well as go off exploring Rhodes. I couldn’t recommend a stay at L&C enough and everything I had read in the previous reviews was right! From the moment I received the first message from Antonis in the WhatsApp group, to when I left, I could not have asked for more. The apartments are spotlessly clean, cleaned daily, and have everything you need. The welcome food and coffee was a lovely extra touch as well. Zafeira, Antonis and Victoria were so welcoming and helpful, with tips and hints to trips you can do, car hire, bus timetables, restaurant suggestions, and excellent Aperol Spritz making by Antonis also! The nearest shop is a 10 minute walk away, and larger supermarket just under 15 minutes walk, but you can also make use of their daily breakfast ordering service which was extensive. I spent a lot of time in the pool area relaxing, and was lucky enough to have it to myself on a few occasions. It has very comfy loungers, parasols, and you can order drinks as well from the bar. The beach is just over a 5 minute walk away which was lovely to go and watch the sun setting each evening. Great kite surfing there as well if that’s your thing. I chose not to hire a car, but I could have had one delivered to L&C which the team will arrange for you. I caught the bus on the main road into Rhodes old town, and did a couple of boat and coach trips to Symi island and Lindos of which Antonis shared the information with me for booking directly, and you walk to a hotel around the corner for the pick up.
