Ideal Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Absolutely adored this little gem. Even though we stayed all inclusive nearby, we went back here several times for dinner and breakfast. The food is great, the service is great, the cats are great.

If you do not like cats, well then firstly do not go to Greece or any of the Greek Islands, but if you love cats, this place is where it's at. I would have loved to stayed for karaoke, but we never did, so I can only assume it is great fun. The flowers that surround this gem are vibrant and beautiful, the cats take care of anything buzzing around unwanted and you can leave a little donation to help the owner look after them.

Find a spot in the shade, get nice drinks and enjoy excellent food. If I'd ever go back to Rhodes, it would be...

The blond serving lady pretending like all customers are annoying her. Extremely rude and kids unfriendly she showed up how they bothering her. Unacceptable. That was not all. She brings the fries instead of wedgies with burger. Fries were under portion and I've gotten food poisoned. Got heavy diarrhea! Also mix souvlaky kebab made funny stomach! This restaurant should be checked by the Greek authorities and closed down. Also cats are walking there around everywhere even the kitchen. Disgusting and wouldn't recommend this place at all. Karaoke and the guy is fun, but not funny place at all as that blond lady walking around like a furious dog.. horrible place. They've got 3 chances and failed all of them. Really bad place, bad kitchen...

We arrived at Ideal Bar on our way to our hotel, looking for a good lunch after a hectic 24 hours. And we were not disappointed! Generous portions, food is fresh, authentic, and very tasty - we even ordered more. The owner is lovely, and let us stay as long as we needed. Even when both our hotel and the Ideal Bar had no electricity, she was kind enough to make us a couple of coffees and let us use the toilet. We felt it was right to go back on our last night in Rhodes, and it was the perfect way to end the holiday.
