JOHN & MARY'S APARTMENTS — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

Stayed here for 2 weeks this July 2021. Returned back after 4 years because it is a reliable, calm and comfortable accommodation ran by a lovely family. If you want silence and want to relax during your holiday, this is the place to go. Rooms are equipped with everything you need in an apartment (kitchen:dishes, cutleries, fridge with freezer, washing liquid for dishes, sponge etc.) bathroom: shampoo and handwash liquid, hairdryer) bed sheets and towels are changed every day for your comfortable feeling. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Small balcony available for morning and evening chill where you can also hang your wet clothes to dry. AC in rooms. Wifi available, and worked superb.||Small pool is available with comfortable sunbeds. ||Breakfast is available for 7 Euros/person. Reasonable price.||This family also runs a supermarket attached to the apartments building. Very comfortable because a bigger supermarket is within 1 kilometre (15 min walk).||The sandy beach is in 600 metres. You can hire 2 beds and an umbrella for 10 euros. You can also take your own umbrella and find a free place but most days the wind is so strong it is impossible to open these kind of umbrellas. ||This year the beaches are full of litter everywhere. It breaks my heart that people who have children just do not care for the future. PLEASE!! PLEASE!! DON'T THROW YOUR CIGARETTES, MASKS AND PLASTIC BOTTLES EVERYWHERE!! the sea is not a dustbin, fish are not smokers, we have only one EARTH, please take care of it! My boyfriend and I stayed at John & Mary’s in the beginning of July. Our holiday was so special because Nikos (the host) went out of his way to ensure we had the best trip possible. He answered the endless questions we had, gave us great recommendations, travel tips and even some Faliraki history! No matter the time of day, he always had a smile on his face. The apartment was really clean and comfortable, the housekeeper even changed our bedding and towels every day. The air con in the room also worked really well. The bar downstairs sold super food (including home grown olives!!) and cocktails, that we often sat and had by the wonderful pool. The shop was very convenient and sold everything we needed. The apartments were in the best location, it was about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Faliraki, so the area was nice and quiet. There were also regular buses nearby that went to Rhodes town, Anthony Quinn bay and Lindos. All in all, we had a 10/10 experience and will definitely be returning to John and Mary’s...

We had a wonderful week's stay at John and Mary's Studios. It is clean and very pleasant, with an enjoyable fresh breakfast of vegetables, fruits, homemade jams, olives, breads, and pastries. There is also a small, clean pool to lounge in as well as a very good supermarket in the hotel. And the very best thing about this hotel is the owner - Nikos - and his lovely family. Out of the many hotels we have stayed in around the world, this was by far the most hospitable service we ever received. Nikos went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable. He took the time to help us plan our days out, and recommended restaurants and places to visit. He truly made us feel like family and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Rhodes.
