Probably the best accommodation we have stayed in in the Aegean islands. Very nicely decorated rooms with plenty of space, very polite cleaning ladies and a very helpful and kind hostess, Maria. The breakfast is very impressive, coming in a superb basket with all sorts of goodies, which can last for the whole day. The suites are sensitive to the environment and in particular save a lot of plastic through providing excellent quality drinking tapwater, something I have not found in any other place in the Aegean islands. It is obvious that Maria and Giannis have constructed this small paradise with care, love and “meraki”. The view, although not to the sea, is excellent, to the Chora, which climbs to the top of the hill, in front of you. The view is unobstructed and excellent. The garden is filled with local plans (which are not water intensive) and give out harmony and beauty. The location is excellent, three minute walk from the Livadi beach and within walking distance from most of the restaurants and shops of the island, and the port. The price we paid (€200 Per night) provides excellent value for money. To top it all up there is plenty of parking provided in a rather busy area and they also provide a plug to charge electrical vehicles. We will...
Read moreIncredible hotel! We stayed at four different ones on our trip from Athens to Milos via Serifos and Sifnos and this was easily our favourite. We loved the layout and decor of our room, which felt calming and luxurious. The finishes were all of high quality and there was no obvious wear or tear. The bed was incredibly comfortable, as was the sofa on the balcony. The view from the balcony was lovely - such a nice spot to have breakfast or enjoy the complementary welcome drink (local wine). The little touches were really thoughtful and we were so impressed - from the notes in the breakfast basket, to the communal bookshelf in the garden, to the tote bag made of recycled hotel towels (which we used every single day for the rest of our trip). Breakfast is delivered to your room, and is always bang on time. We also loved the emphasis on local products in the breakfast basket - the candied orange on the yoghurt and granola pot was one of the best things I ate whilst in Greece. Other noteworthy points include the great water pressure in the shower, and the cute cat that roams around near reception. We loved our stay at Kalami Suites and would return again in...
Read moreThis is an excellent accommodation option for those looking to stay in the hustle and bustle of Livadi. It is a small new hotel in a very central location, yet the beautiful garden with Mediterranean plants gives a feeling of openness and seclusion. There is parking space. We are a family with two children, and we stayed in the garden view suite which was spacious and tasteful. The beds were comfortable and everything has been cared to detail. The balcony was also spacious and had a view of the garden and Chora. The cleanliness was impeccable. A special mention deserves the rich and well-made breakfast that is offered in the room. The owners and staff were really welcoming, all polite and attentive. The price, given the high season and prices in Serifos, was satisfactory. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily choose it again. I highly...
