Likhithos village is a 1 ⭐ "hotel" no ac, cold water, 🪲, ants, all cash to avoid government taxation hotel.
The food are frozen from Lidl reheated until lukewarm and served. The owner need everything in cash cash cash cash because cash is untraceable for the Greece government. But the hotel was filled with people, people using the pool as a toilet because downstairs the toilets had 🪲 and only cold water, the floors were dirty and wet. So people just used the pool like a bathtub. The greetings we recieved when coming in the late night was a hotelbill in cash of course, the room had dirty floors, it had highways of ants along the bed and inside the bathroom. The aircondition needed ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF 50EURO CASH for 6 days!! The hotelroom was like a sauna. Insane hot. So we had to rent the ac because we are older and cannot stand the heat like this. I have never had anyone charge me for aircondition before and i am 65 years old! Been traveling around the world. I told about the ants and some woman came and used a can of RAID and directly on the sea of ants and the pressure from the can made it the ants and dust, hairs and whatever that was on the floor fly up into the air and get everywhere. The beds didnt have any bed clothes. It was a blanket for sheets and we had to use the bedblankets even though they didn't have any sheets and they were worn yellow by other people using them instead of white. They were thin and small size and only the pillows had any protection in. For solution about the ants the woman left the spray can outside our room. "They weren't dangerous and just wanted to be friends" she said. I dont have any problem making friends with ants but maybe not in my hotelroom? For the "kitchen" It was a sandwich toaster there. The kind wich has two sides and like a waffle maker. It had still someone elses old cheese burned in along the edges. The cutlery was greasy because there was no dishsoap and no brush for cleaning them with either. And no hot water of course either. And 1 single lightbulb on the wall in the hole apartment. One lightbulb!!! The "kitchen" was completely dark. We had to use the refrigerator Light to find anything in the kitchen. There was a miniature waterboiler, and a single cup coffeemachine. The bathroom was running constantly with water and the cover for the toilet was on the floor because the toilet was broken. So they just left the cover on the floor. The toilet needed fixing to get working and to have first stop the water. But my husband fixed that because there is no telephone so we couldn't call the reception either. Maybe you are lucky getting this working toilet. No soap anyplace, guess noone need warm water and soap after a toilet. Cold showers no hot water, and on the departure day we also got picked late up. So the owner wants everyone to be all checked out by 11 in the morning!! And we left 1930 at evening and when i asked if it was possible to delay the check out the old woman denied unless i paid another 30euro CASH and then i could keep it until only 4 o'clock in the afternoon. So it was overcharged. Remind you we paid for 7 days and stayed 6 days so the hotel profited on everyone! And we had to use the pool toilet downstairs in the reception area for a shower before we went home and there was wet cold dirty water everywhere, there was ONLY cold water in the ONLY 2 showers that men and women had to share without any changing room. When i was taking the last brutally cold shower a 🪳 trapped inside the room with the shower tried to rescue himself from the drain and he started crawling up my leg and i yelled but of course to noone to care and i flicked the 🪳 back on the floor and tried to rinse myself while it was trying to swim in the dirty water...

A13), which seemed newly built, and had a good spacious layout.|Big loft area, where we could easily accommodate two kids and one parent.|In the downstairs area it’s also quite spacious. |Note that the AC can only cool the downstairs area, the loft is not cooled, as the AC is mounted downstairs, and basic physics prevent cold air from rising.|The AC is additional EUR 40/week, payable on site.||There is a little kitchenette with the basics, even a kettle and a filter coffee machine (bring filters).|The little table however, will only seat four, unless you either bring in the balcony table or vice versa.|Bathroom is adequate nothing more, and as always only bio-waste can be flushed everything else goes in the famous-Greek-island-poo-paper-bin.|Plenty of clean towels, and very helpful maids.||Wi-Fi coverage is superb throughout the estate, and I did not find the speed lacking.||The pool area is a gem, 6 different pools in two levels, ranging from baby to adult depths. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the main one for the whole week.|Plenty of sunbeds, but bring your own pool towels, it isn’t part of the gig.||We had gone for the half-board / half pension, and we appreciated the selection of breakfast options. |The dinner buffet on the other hand was a bit of let down. Read moreUnexpectedly great experience! We went here before the high season so it was calm, not for party beasts tho, great for families and chill people. The staff is super nice.
Breakfasts were the same everyday. Eggs, sausages, watermelon, yoghurts, veggies, pastry… A lot of options and it tasted really good. Dinners were remarkable!! If you have a chance to eat at their restaurant don’t hesitate, the food is better than in other restaurants in the area.
The pools were very clean and an awesome choice if you don’t feel like going to the beach. If you go to the Lakkiess beach on the left side from the hotel there isn’t many people and the sea is clean, however the Aquis beach on the right has way too many people, is really far and has a lot of garbage in it.
Room was clean, looked renovated and had soups and towels. It had kitchen and a fridge. The TV had loads of channels in all different languages. You had to pay for the AC but it’s definitely worth it! The Wi-Fi worked well.
The gym was not that good, it has some dumbbells, even a lighter barbell, bench press, treadmill but it wasn’t really clean and since the doors were always open there was so much insect and I couldn’t figure out hot to turn the AC on.
Shop id recommend is the coop right when you go to the beach, they have literally everything you can imagine and the owners are English. Restaurant I’d recommend is Malibu Taverna, it’s beautiful in there, the owner speaks English, Greek, Czech and German and they have good food. You can also visit Argyrades which is a smaller town cca 2,5 km from the hotel. There’s not many people living there so it looks a bit like ghost town and it’s beautiful there. From the church they have there you can see coats on both sides of the island.
One thing I didn’t like was the terrible smell of fuel every morning but I understand that the hotel can’t do much with it.
I’d definitely...
