Stayed here for 7 days with 8 of us, we booked a package holiday with Jet2 holidays.
The hotel is absolutely amazing, they take care of you as though you are a part of a huge family. They give you a debrief of what to stay away from in Kavos and they helped us with anything we needed. For instance, they can aid you with booking boat trips, airport transfer and anything you need really. I would advise going to the Travel Agency (picture bellow, he is located 5 minute walk away from the hotel) as he gave us better prices for airport transfer and boat trip too.
At arrival they give you quick talk and then they ask you to leave your passport with them until the day after. They said they needed it in order to collect information needed by the government for tourists which is just your name and date of birth (I believe anyway). I didn’t like the idea of leaving my passport overnight (or at all for that matter) so I requested I get my passport immediately after they note down the information they need. They were happy for me to receive my passport ASAP. Apparently, this whole process of your passport being taken away for over a day happens in all hotels. From their response it seemed as though they get complaints about this often which is why I don’t understand they don’t change their process.
Regarding the rooms, they have everything you need and more. You pay €70 (including travel tax) to have the air con on(7 nights). The rooms come with a fridge and a hairdryer which was very good. You receive one key even if the room is for 2 and you are advised by the hotel to leave your key with reception every time you go out. There is someone available at reception 24/7 so it’s not an issue if you are planning on going back late after a night out. The rooms were cleaned every few days and the cleaners are absolutely lovely!
You might not even need to leave the hotel to have fun! The hotel has special activity nights every day of the week. My favourite night was Bingo night, where each of the participants had to pay €5 and whoever won at Bingo got the cash price! Unfortunately, I wasn’t one of the winners 😔 Just make sure you book your tables for every event because the tables get booked up pretty quickly. The hotel also has its own restaurant which you also have to book for because if get pretty busy. As guests of the hotel you automatically get 10% off your total bill which makes dinning there really cheap and cheerful in comparison to going out to eat. They also have happy hour for drinks which was 3 cocktails for €14 from 22 until midnight. The only alcohol I trusted in the whole of Kavos was from the hotel! Since we had a packaged holiday we got to have breakfast every morning that finishes at 1030, you can get an English breakfast for extra €4 which was really good!
The hotel also responds to any questions you may have before you get to your holiday if you message them on Facebook. They are extremely helpful and your questions will be answered!
The pool are is ace, as they have pool and many sun-beds with a few umbrellas if you fancy one.
Overall, the staff are 100/10, the activity nights are 100/10 and I have no complaints with regards to the hotel. I forgot to mention the beach is only a 5 minute walk away from...
Read moreFrom the moment we pulled into the driveway at Morfeas Hotel in Kavos, it was clear we were in for something special. This isn’t just another hotel — it’s a destination in itself. Here’s why our stay felt unforgettable:||🌟 The Ambience & Vibe|Morfeas strikes a perfect balance between lively energy and warm, friendly hospitality. It has that upbeat, party-spirit of Kavos, but without feeling overwhelming. DJ sets, pool parties, and themed Greek nights add sparkle after sunset, yet by night’s end you can still retreat to calmer corners and rest easy. The place pulses with youthful fun, laughter, and often music — exactly what we hoped for without tipping into chaos. ||🏨 Location & Access|One of Morfeas’s strongest assets is its location. It’s just a stone’s throw from Kavos Beach and mere minutes from bars, eateries, and the liveliest parts of the strip — so you’re right where the action is, but far enough to escape constant noise. Perfect for those who want convenience without compromise.||💕 Staff, Service & “That Feel-Good Factor”|This was what really elevated our stay. At Morfeas, staff aren’t merely doing their jobs — they feel like part of what makes the holiday. They’re friendly, helpful, often go out of their way to make things right, and do so with big smiles. We felt less like clients and more like honoured visitors.||🛏 Accommodation & Facilities|Rooms are pleasantly simple and clean. They do what matters well: comfy beds, daily housekeeping, practical amenities like fridges, kettles, balconies — though don’t expect luxury finishes. Some bathrooms are compact; decor isn’t modern art, but everything works and feels well looked-after. ||The pool area is a standout: large, well-maintained, full of sun loungers, with a good snack/pool bar. The surrounding garden is neatly landscaped. It’s a great place both to lounge and to socialise. ||🍽 Food & Drink|The food offerings are solid, especially given the price. Breakfast is basic — pastries, cereal, toast, fruit — but fresh and enough to set you up for the day - I opted for the jumbo breakfast daily at 6euros and was not disappointed. Evenings bring a more varied menu, with local options and international touches; special nights (Greek food nights, BBQs) make dining feel festive. Drinks and cocktails are reasonably priced, especially by hotel-bar standards in a tourist hotspot. ||✔️ Highlights & Some Caveats|Highlights:|Excellent value: you get a lot for what you pay. For people who want fun, convenience, decent food, and friendly service, this hotel punches above its class.||The pool bar + entertainment programme is genuine fun. Great for solo travellers, groups, or people who want evenings with a bit of buzz. |Tripadvisor||✅ Overall|Morfeas Hotel lives up to its promise: to be more than just somewhere to sleep. It crafts an atmosphere of fun, warm hospitality, good food, and a location that gives you both convenience and ease. If you’re heading to Kavos for a holiday that combines beach, party, socialising and relaxation, this place is among the best bets. We left with great memories and a sense that if we ever come back, Morfeas would be both a comfortable base and a...
Read moreWe have just returned from a week in Kavos, the Morfeas is a two star hotel and I must say it is very good probably worth another star. The positives do outweigh the negatives. It is on lovely grounds which are kept immaculate, the rooms are cleaned every day and the cleaning staff are lovely, very friendly. The pool area is a good size with plenty of shade if required. The pool bar staff are lovely as is the food they serve. The staff go to great lengths to provide great entertainment every night and are very personable, however I did feel this was depending on how much you spent on extras. The negatives are few but worth a mention, although they do appear to get great reviews for food and quite rightly boast about this, we found the food to be good, definitely not as claimed the best in Kavos, however we did not sample steak or Greek choices on the menu as a half board guest we were required to pay extra for some dishes, which we refused to do on principle. The much acclaimed garlic bread, is a garlic baguette, like one you would buy in the supermarket. I would though reccomend the pork chops and mashed potatoes. Whilst eating out my preference is fish, they did not have any fish, so that was dissapointing, It did however prompt us to eat out and there are lovely restaurants close by that are great value for money. Breakfast is very basic indeed, I would not even say it was continental standard. We chose to eat breakfast out every day, again this is available nearby for a few euro. The showers are very small and leak water all over the very small bathroom. Watch out for the shower base, definitely put a towel down it is quite slippy when wet, although I am super paranoid about this having slipped on another holiday and broke my wrist. The smell from the drains can be quite overpowering at times and the constant thumping from what I am assuming was a generator. Overall as I say a great hotel for the money, I would just prefer to have all costs incorporated in my holiday price, rather than pay extras. Kavos is not for anyone looking for a nice town or village, it is basically a strip of bars, restaurants , not particularly clean and as mentioned the drainage smell is bad. The bus service is really bad, if it turns up great, if not wait another...
