Ταβέρνα "Λυκούργος" — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

Sandra & I was just reminiscing about the good old times when we spent time with Maria & Vangellis @ Likourgos Taverna. We used to come out in May & September each year & help with the bar & pedalos, alongside Dave & Jean from Liverpool & Richard & Deborah. The last time we visited was September 2000, when we brought our first Child (Captain Morgan), who was 6 months old at the time. We had some great times with everyone over the years especially on the Crazy Speedboat. In 2009 we emigrated to Canada, but may come back & revisit you...

This restaurant is really amazing. Probably by far the best in the near. Price and quality are for my opinion unbeatable. They don't need to make the marketing "bla bla" and claim to be some sort of real Greek.

The food and ambient speaks for itself. It is really authentic, great and fresh.

The view on the beach while eating this excellent food makes the holiday feel like a holiday.

An absolut recommendation.

Service was very slow, there seems to be more wasps here the other tavernas. We did ask about the wasps but was just told " they don't sting" but it's not nice when there crawling all over your food. They had a French Bull dog that always tries to jump up steal your food. Fish soup is alright but a bit oily, its off the menu now for winter and the new menu is...
