We came to Oula Maisonettes for 5 nights and the experience was amazing. We came for a relaxing trip not realising we were in Kavos. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Kavos strip and we heard very little noise throughout the night coming from the town. There is a secret beach,30 minute walk from the hotel that was absolutely stunning, would definitely recommend that spot to watch the sunset. The staff in the hotel were absolutely amazing and so friendly.Special mention to Theo and Johnny for making sure everything was okay for us and that we were happy with everything. If you enjoy the simple things then this is the perfect place for you,it was boiling hot every day we were there but as long as you keep a window open the heat is not a problem in the rooms. The rooms were clean and the bins were changed every day as well as new toilet roll. The views from the balcony were absolutely breathtaking and the window upstairs was the perfect spot to watch the sunrise in the mornings. The only downside to the rooms were the ants, any food or drinks left out and the ants would swarm around the room but after a day or two it wasn’t a problem. We used Kavos Excursions to organise trips to Corfu and there are many other activities that they offer such as a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon, very easy to book and very affordable and they were able to drop us back to the hotel. I would 100% recommend Oula as it is very affordable, the staff are amazing, rooms were lovely and if you don’t want to party then there are many hidden gems just...
Read moreWe recently stayed at Oula Maisonettes in southern Corfu with our family, and it was a wonderful experience. The gardens are impeccably maintained, with stunning plants, including eye-catching banana trees. There are also sweet cats roaming around, which were a delightful distraction for our children, who are animal lovers.
The rooms are small but have everything you need and are comfortable. A special mention to Mary, the cleaning lady, who was always so kind and friendly to us. The only improvement we would suggest is the stovetop, as there are only two burners, attached to the microwave. Air conditioning is an additional cost at 15 euros per day.
The large and beautiful pool is perfect for relaxing, and the refreshment area is well-kept and equipped, with two large TVs showing various channels, including sports. There are also two pool tables, and the bar offers decent food and drinks. It would be great to add a playground to keep the kids entertained.
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Teo, Iannis, and the owners, who went out of their way to assist us whenever we needed anything. The place is popular with young people looking to have fun and party. Kavos is a lively town, full of bars and aimed at a younger crowd. The location is excellent for visiting nearby beaches, but we recommend renting a car or scooter. There is also a large parking area right in front of the property.
Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend it for families and younger...
Read moreWe stopped at the Oula Maisonettes as a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 children aged 8,6,4 and 1.
We arrived early hours of the morning to a nice friendly welcome and showed to our room over two floors at the back of the complex. Although the room was nice, it had a steep spiral staircase, which wasn’t quite suitable. A quick chat with Yiannis, the hotel Manager the next morning and he made plans to move us into a more suitable room.
Yiannis and his whole team are so warm, friendly and can’t do enough for you, right through from the bar staff, cooks and cleaners.
The hotel had a mixed bunch of guests from youngsters partying, families, couples and from a range of nationalities. God bless the Italians 😉 It’s definitely not a quiet hotel which we enjoyed 👍
The rooms are a decent size and the rooms, as well as the whole complex are kept immaculately clean.
It’s in a great location, far enough from the strip to be out the way, but close enough to everywhere like beaches, supermarkets and bars being a 10 minute walk.
The best part of the hotel for us was the food. We’ve probably never eaten in an apartment restaurant so many times. There’s a great choice, the portions are huge and quality is top drawer. Greek specialties galore and loads of stuff for the kids. We tried breakfast, lunch and dinner and couldn’t fault any. Drinks are reasonably priced too.
It’s definitely 5 stars from us and thanks to Yiannis and the team for making our stay so...
