I rarely give 5 stars but this place is a must visit. when we arived we were greeted by the most wholesome waiter (he is probably the owner) he asked us where we are from and was making some serbian jokes, even tho he doesn't know much serbian, still we were laughing our buts off. It is very peaceful and there is Very little trafic , it's most likely a family business and it is just the thing we needed next to everything going on in the center.
Food:
First we took the tzatziki and i have tried many different tzatziki but this one is the best it is well balanced paired with fresh baked bread and a olive , and next we got our mains and all looked perfect, i took fired sardiens and cooked clams, and they both hit the spot just right well prepared with salad and fries on the side just balanced right, paired with the tzatziki which we barely managed not to eat before the mains is a bomb, the sardiens were just right , crispy and not oily and they are on the large side also just enough filling for a normal person, but i had to have some clams too, they are served in a clay pot simmered and a little spicy, sweet from the spices and pepper and served piping hot. This place is a must visit we were surely surprised by the sheer quality and volume and most of all by the owner/waited , he made the food 10 times better commenting and joking around, by just s glance you can see he loves people and loves serving this delicious food, also you get greeted by some very adorable cats. All in all we will surely visit more as it's close to our hostel, if you are on this island you have to visit and laugh at the waiters jokes and then enjoy the lip succulent and lip smacking food , we loved it and...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to this restaurant, I was not only impressed by the quality of the food but especially by the dedication of the owner. The owner, who served us, was extremely polite and made us feel truly welcome. Moreover, he spoke fluent English and knew several useful phrases in many languages, including Polish, which was a pleasant surprise.
The menu was available in many languages, and the owner made an effort to use phrases in the customer's native language, adding a personal touch to our visit. Such an approach to the customer is rarely seen and we really appreciate this effort.
The food was very tasty. I especially recommend the shrimps saganaki - they were excellent. The salmon, although generally tasty, was slightly overcooked, which affected its texture. Nevertheless, the flavor was spot on.
Additionally, the owner offered us Tsatsiki on the house, which was a very kind gesture.
For dessert, we chose the chocolate cake, which was good, but I think the dessert offer could be a bit more varied. For example, a warmed chocolate cake served with ice cream, as they serve in other popular restaurants, would be a great addition.
In conclusion, I'm very pleased with my visit to this restaurant and I will definitely return here more than once. The owner has created a place that combines excellent service and tasty food, making it a unique spot on the city's...

Me and my friends went there twice during our end of A-Level holiday which was only 4 days. THATS HOW GOOD IT WAS. The service by the owner and his son was impeccable and the food was amazing especially because all the olives and wine are made using crops from their own vineyards which really adds to the atmosphere of the restaurant. Slightly off the beaten track but well worth it. All 14 of us would happily go there again and we're so glad we got the opportunity to support this family owned business in a place that's becoming more commercial by the day. To reiterate how good this place is on both occasions we found the money to leave 70€+ tips and the look on the owners face was amazing and for poor students who only spent £300 on the holiday including spending money and flights we can assure you that this place is well worth the visit. If you're reading this thank you for 'welcome home'. It filled our hearts with as much joy as...
