Κochyli — Hotel in Municipality of Spetses

The most dirty room my partner and I have stayed in.

When we checked in the bedsheets where changed and the towels where clean. Everything else though wasn’t clean.

The bathroom was very dirty. The glass screen had soap marks all over, the water in the bottom of the toilet was yellow and dirty. The bathroom sink had leftovers (blow nose stuff) and hair. The bathroom door was full of soapy water stains too. Very poor hygiene.

I reported to the receptionist and said that I don’t mind if the room isn’t cleaned properly however, the bathroom was important for hygiene reasons, and that I didn’t mind the room to be cleaned the next day. She come over and cleaned the bathroom herself and apologise for the inconvenience. She asked me to show the pictures I had took in the morning to Ms Eva whom I assume the hotel belonged.

The floor in our room was with hair and fluffs all over. The dressing table stool had fabric which was dirty, had stains, hair and dust very disgusting.

There was coffee/tea breakfast bar in the room where instead of 2 water glasses was just 1 dirty with old stains glass. The tea pot had 1cm dust on same for the mags. I mean we payed 70€ per night for that no way!

I was ok with it as I thought that they will clean our room the next day as I was told but NO! Come back after long day out and except the bathroom which the receptionist cleaned the day of our arrival nothing else had changed than towels and rubbish!

I was very disappointed as they didn’t take my feedback into account. We had to checked out and rent somewhere else.

When we checked out I gave feedback to Ms Eva about our experience and she was very defensive instead of apologising.
