I booked this hotel through Booking.com and about a month before my trip, Santorini experienced a severe swarm of earthquakes. I contacted the hotel, asking if they would be open to a change or cancellation of my booking due to safety concerns. They were initially kind saying they would be happy to discuss. But immediately after, they became entirely uncontactable - including disabling their phone number. This was utterly irresponsible behaviour. However, they recently contacted me on the day of my check-in, asking me if I was coming. By this point (3 weeks of being uncontactable) I had already cancelled my trip since the earthquakes were still present. However, they had the audacity to message me on the day of booking asking me if I was coming. Losing the money of booking was unfortunate but understandable since natural disasters are no one’s fault. However, preventing a paying guest from having any contact over a legitimate safety concern reflects a very poor picture of this hotel’s management. From my experience, I’d advise...
