During our recent visit to Santorini, we had the pleasure of dining at Triana Tavern, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our meal was perfect, offering thoughtful recommendations tailored to our tastes.

Each dish was a celebration of fresh, local ingredients, prepared with the care and precision of a chef who truly loves their craft. We were particularly impressed by the seafood options, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The wine pairing suggested by our server was spot-on, enhancing the flavors of our meal without overpowering the food.

What truly stood out was the personal touch the staff brought to the entire dining experience. I recently visited this restaurant and had a generally enjoyable experience, though there were a few things that could be improved.

Let’s start with the good: the atmosphere was fantastic. The space had a great vibe—modern yet cozy—and the views were absolutely stunning. Whether you're dining with friends or on a special occasion, the ambiance definitely sets the mood.

The service was top-notch. The servers were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. Food service was prompt, and we never had to wait long for anything. I also really appreciated the little touch of offering a free wine taste test at the end of the meal. It was a nice surprise and added to the overall experience.

However, the food itself didn't quite live up to the rest of the experience. While the presentation was nice, the flavors were a bit lacking. The chicken, in particular, was overly oily. I was expecting a bit more flavor, and sadly, it didn’t quite hit the mark.

Stumbled upon this absolute gem our first night in Santorini. Sat in the terrace up top. Simple, unassuming atmosphere with excellent service and even better food. Prices were very reasonable, but not cheap. We had the Tomato Kefthedes to start, not greasy at all, amazing flavor. Our entrees were Grilled Sea Bass, Grilled Chicken with Mustard and Wild Rice and Moussaka.

Not only would we order any of these dishes again, we've already decided that well be sitting another meal here before we depart.

Edit: Had not only a second dinner here, but also lunch the day of our departure because, it's just that good. For our second dinner we tried the Shrimp Saganaki and the Mixed Grill (normally for two, but they accommodated me with a portion for one). Both amazing.
