Elia Apartments Santorini — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

They expired our review on booking.com and it has only been 5 days so here we are... We are travel bloggers and travel alot and stay in all types of hotels, apartments, and accommodations. This was probably our WORST experience in Greece.

First and foremost if this is your business you communicate with the person staying. There was little to no communication prior and during.

Second we took a shower went to see the sunset and came back to ANTS everywhere in the bathroom. Booking.com reached out to the owner to give us a refund and then we are going to stay somewhere else but they denied it. They didn't get back to us about the ant problem right away and didn't send anyone to help clean until the next day. So we had to sleep with BUGS!

All they did was wipe them up. Everyday there were ants in the bathroom. I sent videos and pictures. He never let us know when they were coming to clean the ants in the morning. NO COMMUNICATION.

If you want a great stay in santorini and your a couple like us on your anniversary AVOID this place like your life...

Fantastic place to stay! Huge living space: living room with kitchen, large bedroom, bathroom, and private outdoor patio. Bianca was wonderful with communication and telling us about the island. They clean your room during the day. Location is one bus stop (or 3 minute ATV ride) to Fira. I would stay here again if we visit...

We had a very good experience at Elia residence appointments. The apartment was stylish and spacious. Very clean and 10minutes walk from Thira. The host Nikos was soooo helpful and made our stay excellent. Very good value for money. Thank...
