Golden moments Santorini — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

To anyone staying in Santorini, there is really no better place to stay than in Golden Moments villas! Set in Mesaria, the villa we stayed in gave us an incredibly luxurious experience in total isolation from everything else, all while staying incredibly close to all attractions on the Island. Fira, Megalochori, Pirgos are around the corner at most 5 mins by car, while Oia, Akrotiri, Vlichada, Perissa are 15 mins away. The villas are all equipped at least with their own heated jacuzzis. Our villa also had a private pool with gorgeous panoramic views. The pool wasn't heated but it was a dream to swim on whether in the morning, during the evening or at night. The hotel is right next to the road but this road is incredibly sparsely trafficked allowing you to fully enjoy the included amenities in total privacy with nobody to disturb you. You might hear guests coming and going occasionally but your oasis of peace and relaxation is never intruded upon and completely yours. A special thank you goes to Pantelis and his team. Pantelis was on-site for the check-in, his team helped us with our bags when we came and when we left and during our stay would also bring a very fair breakfast to our door every morning. There is even a large parking area adjacent to Golden Moments that fits more than one car per villa. I cannot think of a better value stay. Genuinely, this was unbelievable. I will be looking to stay here every time...

A very charming hotel, the owner welcomes you with a smile and the rooms have everything you need. There’s even an iron! The hotel’s location is perfect—close to the airport when you arrive and near the port if you’re visiting other Cycladic islands.

The town center is just a short walk away, with lovely traditional restaurants that are less touristy than those you might find in Oia.

A final highlight: breakfast can be booked via WhatsApp to arrange your preferred time, and it’s served in total privacy at a small outdoor table right in front of your room—a real gem. In the photos, some of the delicacies they brought us!

Our stay at these luxury villas in Santorini was incredible! Nestled in a quiet spot high on the mountain, the walk to the bus stop is about 35 minutes, but it's a beautiful, scenic route. I highly recommend renting an ATV for convenience—our host got us a fantastic deal, and they were extremely accommodating throughout our stay. We upgraded to a 3-story villa on our last night, and it was beyond worth it—spacious, private bathrooms, and a hot tub.
