We recently stayed here for 4 days and what a beautiful place it is. The studio apartment was so cute, clean and perfect. The little touches were exquisite. It is a beautiful boutique style accommodation with only 7 apartments and therefore felt very personal. We had a sunset meal on the balcony and the view was amazing.||It is ideally located just 15 minute walk from Oia so quiet enough from the hustle and bustle of a town. We arrived late but the owner advised us that the Greek restaurant next door would be open. Bus stop right outside meant you could take a bus to Oia if you wished to or even to Fira.||||More outstanding than the property or the location is the hospitality of the owner, Spiridoula. She was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Her mum made the most delicious omelettes for breakfast. Breakfast was so plentiful, it would last you most of the day. Both of them were so so sweet and made such a difference from staying in a hotel. Spiridoula made arrangements for boat trips, taxis and anything else you needed advice about. She also said if you are stuck anywhere in the island to just call her.||Would definitely recommend staying here!||PS. Next door, down quite a few steps, is a beautiful hidden restaurant called Meze Meze. Please do visit as the views are amazing and the food...
Read moreWe had a good stay at Kiklaminos, the owners are very friendly and gave us all the information we needed. Big plus the LOCATION. It is located in Ia, just 20 minutes walk from Oia. Also there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel which passes every 20 minutes and takes you to the capital Fira. The ROOM was very clean and with good facilities and amazing terraces with a view over Oia. We even got a bigger room than we booked. The "self-service" breakfast was nothing special, could be improved. Also it is forbidden to wash clothes in the room. I didn't quiet understand that. Anyway they offer a laundry service for 7€, which we used. Other thing I didn't like was the restaurant recommendation to the restaurant Finikia just closeby. The owner/receptionist advertised it as a place with good prices, but it was pretty expensive. Would have appreciated it if she would've advertised it with a place of high quality food, but not with good prices. The room was cleaned very well every day. On our checkout they even got us a little necklace as a gift. Conclusion: would definitely stay again, price is ok for Santorini and the location so...
Read moreWe loved our stay at Kiklamino so much and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a little peaceful oasis away from the heat and crowds of Oia! We thoroughly enjoyed popping back for a siesta during the way and enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony. Our room was essentially one of the split level apartments on the upper floor with unobstructed views of the famous breathtaking sunsets and was spacious yet cosy at the same time - perfect for a couple. The breakfast/lunch/snacks provided is a selection of fresh fruit, croissants, cookies, cake and bread with cheese & ham, which was perfect for our stay. The apartment is lovely and airy, and furnished (as well as immaculately cleaned) to an extremely high standard, the photos don’t even begin to do it justice! We walk everywhere so we loved that the centre of Oia is about a 15minute stroll away, nice to burn some extra calories after a heavy meal! Lastly, the owners of Kiklamino (including the resident Yorkshire terrier!) are so welcoming and really do go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. When can...
