Went to this restaurant as a group of 4 and although the whole restaurant was almost full, they still accommodated us with a table.
The interior was like a traditional Greek taberna with a lively atmosphere.
We ordered the mixed grill, lamb chops and fried calamari.
The mixed grill meats were cooked well and tasty. The separately ordered barbecued lamb chops were particularly good and had a nice smoky flavour. The calamari were not as crispy (possibly as they are not deep fried in batter as we’re used to) but still ok.
They had run out of the cheesecake dessert we wanted but it was understandable as the restaurant was so busy.
The house red wine was good value and not bad (€8.50 for 0.5L).

Read moreThe experience we had at Anemomilos was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, this restaurant exceeded all expectations and truly deserves a five-star rating.
The food was an absolute delight. Everything was cooked with a remarkable level of skill and precision. The flavors were vibrant and the ingredients were fresh.
The service, however, was what truly made our evening unforgettable. Our server was incredibly prompt and attentive, checking in on us at all the right moments without being intrusive. She was genuinely kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our meal and drinks. Her warm and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and well-cared for.

Read moreTop Notch food. In our four days in Oia village, we had did here in the first day. We had the lamb roast with vegetables and tomato sauce. It was brilliant. Meat falling off the bone, chargrilled to perfection. We also had the Greek salad, the chicken oven roasted dish and the sea brim sauteed with vegetables, all very tasty. After the first day, we had lunch at many other places in Oia, the Skiza, the Metilini, even the Metaxi Mas near the airport and yet on the last day we wanted to get back here. The second time we had the deconstructed pork gyro, the lamb roast done in a different sauce, the fried tomato and Oh my we cleaned the plate, but a but if sauce was left out. Trust me, if in Oia, please eat at the Anemomilos Tavern, you will...
