Mes Amis — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

My last comment was “Food never came even when there’s no other customer around. Worst experience ever”. Updated since there’s a response from the restaurant.

First of all, even my 6-yr old said that we ordered the cheese burger and she kept complaining about why the restaurant never delivered the food.

Secondly, in the middle of the meal, we realized that the cheeseburger took longer than expected to come, I talked to one of the waiters there and he confirmed that it will come soon.

Thirdly, the waitress’ attitude was very arrogant and kept claiming that she re-confirmed the order and re-ordering now took 30 minutes (later she changed it to 15 minutes). I immediately said that no, I won’t wait 30 minutes for a cheeseburger but just give one star to your restaurant (it’s not “threatened” in any sense).

Now it feels to me that not only the waiter but the management did not feel sorry about this and I highly suggest everyone wants good service stay away from this restaurant (there’re lots of alternatives...

Reviews and photos looked good and the waiting staff were very nice. The view is great however my meal came out cold. I ordered the Greek sloppy joe and it had to be sent back, when it came back my wife had finished her meal and had ordered extra bread as the portion for her shrimp orzo was quite small, tasty but very small. Unfortunately when my meal came back the meat was hot in patches indicating it had been microwaved. Not something I’d expect for the price... the beer was cold, I suppose that’s a plus. It's a shame as we stayed nearby and stopped here 2 or 3 times. It's really luck as to the quality of food. The first time was nice enough for lunch, the second and third were awful. The avocado toast the 1st time was green and fresh, the second time it was totally grey and had the consistency of pesto. The coffees are awful, I'm not sure what people are talking about saying the coffee is good. It's instant coffee that may have been to worst I have ever had. Staff were uninterested. Just not worth the money of stopping here. Sadly there wasn't anywhere else we could find for breakfast or lunch as most places sell sweet pastries and Nutella which I...
