Where do I start? This has been one of the best vacations we have had in a while and we have Kostas and his team to thank for it. We stayed in Villa #3 for 7 days in late June 2018. I will say that from the beginning Kostas was extremely responsive to all of my questions. I started planning this trip back in January of this year and I requested information from a few different resorts and homes. Mathios Luxury home was the first one to reply to my request. From that moment on we knew we were in good hands. The pictures you see online are exactly what you get. The house was in a quiet location away from all of the tourist but close enough that you could visit any day and any time. In addition, even though it was quiet, there were a lot of local restaurants and shops within walking distance and gorgeous views. The villa itself was amazing. Extremely clean with a lot of attention to detail. Violeta was our housekeeper and although they offer daily housekeeping you can opt out if it if you want. Breakfast was amazing. Vitali served breakfast daily by the pool and anything we wanted he was able to provide. The first day they got more that we could eat, however, everything was delicious. We got eggs, different kinds of breads, ham and cheese, cereal, milk and coffee and tea. Kostas was extremely accommodating and wanted to make sure we had a great, relaxing time. Everything was extremely easy! He arranged pick up and drop off from the airport. He also arranged for a car rental and it was delivered to our villa the same day. Really, anything we needed or wanted, he was able to arrange for us. He even arranged for a fan to be delivered to our villa that same day. The villas have great cool, air conditioning and the houses are very quiet but I’m used to falling asleep to the sound of a fan. Even though stores were closing and no one would be able to deliver a fan at the last minute, Kostas (realizing that I was in distress without this fan) made it happened and he was able to get us the fan that afternoon. This is the kind of service that they provide. They can also organize different trips and tours around the island. We like to venture on our own so having a rental car was ideal. However, the manager, Konstantinos Papalexis really spoiled the experience for us. His attitude was quite shocking for someone working in the service industry.
The first day of our arrival, as my daughter was sleeping in my arms, the taxi took us to the villa. He was there and kept insisting that we go to reception first (about 5-10 minutes walking distance from the villa). This, despite the fact that my friend was already doing the check in at the reception. There was no need for me and baby to be there, yet, he kept insisting. He stopped insisting when he finally received a phone call that the check-in was complete.
The following day, he insisted that we all show up to reception in order to ‘get acquainted’ and to ‘give us information about how to travel around Santorini’. We did not show up because we already had a travel plan. Nevertheless, he called us the following day, insisting that we come over. Then he tried to sell us an overpriced taxi service to touristic places. Please do not take up these services, you will find kinder service and much more reasonable prices at Golden Travel Tours.
Finally, when we went to reception for check out on our last day, he closed his office door when he saw us, forcing us to wait. We were there with a baby, and we kindly asked for someone else to do our check out. Check out took 3 minutes in the end, but he had to be aggressive about it and shout at us, his face flushing red. I left the reception building shaking.

There is no parking as shown in the booking photos and on the villa's website. There are fixed cars in the parking lot and you have to park the car in his second hotel, 5 minutes walk. When my daughter asked why we could not park in the villa, the manager attacked her and said that the parking is according to the biking settings up to 400 meters away. Replacing boiled eggs at breakfast for omelet, demanded 7 € !!! The reception at the second hotel gives you a map with lots of explanations about 2 restaurants. And claimed it was not worth traveling to Thira and Oia. It's funny that his map also has only his hotel and 2 restaurants ... The bedroom was very small A small pool There is no privacy for the other rooms The feeling from the owner was not pleasant at all Even at breakfast a sense of stinginess, 3 olives for three people, coffee for one glass. We were also told that the villa could be made coffee, there was wine to enjoy, and in fact only one capsule was free for all guests, all for a fee.
Just a sense of missing out from a place that looked like a good thing.
