We stayed here for a few nights during the summer. We chose May Seven as we were looking for somewhere to take in the sun and relax in the vicinity of the vineyards.
For the majority of our visit we had the entire pool to ourselves. There was no need to fight for a sun lounger because there was enough for one per person which meant that we could do everything at our own pace. No children being allowed at the hotel kept the atmosphere chilled.
The breakfasts were great, especially as the person preparing them had noticed my wife was pregnant and insisted on giving her more fruit to eat, which was a really nice, personal touch. (We even got offered a piece of freshly baked cake while we were waiting for transport one night because the receptionist overheard my wife saying she could smell something really nice!)
There’s a really nice restaurant 10 minutes down the road that we were recommended to eat at (and we returned to the next night)
When we were using the pool, there was a really cool soundtrack being played over the speaker system that added to the relaxation of the place.

Read moreWe extended our stay by 1 night and booked this hotel thinking we would relax with a jacuzzi.
Unfortunately, reality is far from what the hotel shows online. Their pictures are so photoshopped it’s misleading. The sunset view is obstructed by buildings and electric poles in front.
Our jacuzzi gave electric shocks so we did not even use because we felt unsafe. It’s clearly miswired, the grounding work was incorrectly set up. This would not pass safety protocol! It had very hot temperature and could not cool down even after 1 hour of waiting.
Room had sewage smell. AC did not work at night. Felt hot and humid.
There’s nothing around the area.
The receptionist was informed of all of problems. She herself said the water was too hot, and felt bad for us. She tried to assist us by phone at 2am to fix the AC with no luck. We did not sleep a wink because opening the window would let mosquitoes come in.
When contacting management the general manager denied and dismissed all our issues despite not even...
Read moreOur stay here was amazing! Joannna is the most welcoming and wonderful hotel staff I’ve ever interacted with. She offered coffee while we checked in, booked our transfers, helped us book a bike, showed us our room, and provided us with all the information we needed to go around the island, all with a smile on her face. She made us feel super welcomed!
The hotel itself is very nice. The room (a senior suite) was a bit smaller than expected, but still comfortable and beautiful. Location is great if you just want to relax by the pool, as the area is very quiet and the pool is quite nice. If you do want to go around and explore the island, you will need to rent a car/bike or take the loca bus, which will require a transfer to get to popular places like Oia. So if you just want I to explore Fira and Oia, this might not be the best place to stay.
The view from the place is amazing and you can see the sunset from your hot tub. Breakfast is also pretty good and brought...
