Nefeli Cave Houses — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

We found this place on Air B&B. Was probably the best of all the ones we used on our vacation. Nikos, the host was fantastic throughout our entire stay with great communication, as well as being on site to interact with. The house is awesome! Just so different than what you may be used to, if you always stay in hotels. Because of its construction, it is quite cool inside while very warm outside. The beds were comfortable, and it is a short walk to the center of town where you can catch the bus to Fira which will take you everywhere else on the island...

We really enjoyed our time there. The dime house is very comfortable and stays very cool with the one AC and great insulation. The beds were comfortable and the two bathrooms were great, with plenty of hot water.

The kitchen has everything you need.

The location is about a 10-min walk to town where you can find restaurants, great coffee (I recommend Omoo), great food (I recommend Mike’s Grill for amazing Gyros), and rent cars.

Overall the location is central to the island so you can drive everywhere in 15 to 30 minutes. We would definitely stay...

The house was a good size and could easily accommodate up to 6 people. The house is very nice, clean and comfort. The bathroom is a little bit small. Mr. Nikos is kind and helpful. He gave us information on the area and some suggestions about places to go. He had also provided drinking water and some breakfast items, tea and coffee. He also let us used his washing machine.
