Patina Vivera Estate Santorini — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

Worth the wait for our 13 year overdue honeymoon. Santorini was the final stay of our 13 day honeymoon trip to Greece, and while we had not planned to stay in Santorini more than a couple days, the Patina crew: Antonio, Eva and Aris left us wanting more. Our only hesitation in providing a 5 star review, is our desire to keep Patina (and Vivera) our exclusive secret.

Everything about the stay was 5 star. The villa itself, the location, the views and most importantly the crew.

The Villa and views: as evident in the pictures, the facility is nothing short of stunning with each area providing an its own unique experience. The most difficulty we encountered during our stay, was deciding which room to sleep in and shower to use. The infinite pool and hot tub with caldera views (really the whole west coast) provide an unbelievable sunset. The living spaces are comfortably appointed and conveniently enabled with the latest technology you might see in a 5 star Las Vegas hotel, such as the integrated patio sound system you can operate pool side. As we are in the process of designing our house, we look to incorporate some of the features of Patina (+ Vivera) in our design.

The location: this location is drastically understated at worst. For us, looking for a more private experience, the location was perfect. A short walk to Pyrgos and all the village has to offer: unbelievable dining experiences, shopping and even the blue domes for those that want to avoid the crowds in Oia (we did). There is a hiking trail directly adjacent to the villa which offers an enjoyable hike to the island peak, for 360 degree panoramic views. Overall the location is a great launch point to go anywhere on the island though if we were to extend our stay, we would have stayed at the villa.

Last and most importantly, The Crew: The service and attention received before, during and after our stay could not be outdone. Antonio was a wealth of information to prepare us for the stay, and made it exceptionally easy to transfer to and from the port / airport and coordinate a rental car for a day. He also arranged for an excellent couples massage experience on the patio and a dinner night out . We probably owe Antonio an apology for the countless questions, which he graciously responded to every time. Eva and Aris went the extra mile every time, and provided an unbelievable daily breakfast - too much for us to possibly eat. We initially planned on a private chef one morning, but we already had one! Eva and Aris immaculately maintain the facilities and Patina + Vivera are lucky to have them. While the service at most of the accommodations during our Greece trip were excellent, the experience provided by the Patina crew really set Patina apart, and we look forward to returning soon with the...

We had an unforgettable stay at the Vivera Estate! The entire experience exceeded every one of our expectations. I proposed to my girlfriend during our trip and the Vivera team went above and beyond to make it truly magical!

The estate itself is stunning — perched in the hills of Pyrgos, with breathtaking views and a peaceful energy that’s impossible to describe. But what really makes this place special is the people behind it...

Demi and Nikos — the owners — were incredibly thoughtful and committed to making our stay as perfect as possible. You can tell how much love they’ve poured into the property — they truly want guests to feel the same connection to it that they do.

Bianca — the property manager — was a dream to work with. So warm, so attentive, and so on top of everything. She even picked up last-minute flowers for the proposal, which meant so much to us! Everything felt so easy and seamless.

And Eva and Aris — the service team — were the heart and soul of our stay. The villa was always spotless, but it was their kindness, attention to detail, and the personal touches that made all the difference. They were always one step ahead and so genuinely committed to creating an incredible experience — it really felt like they poured their hearts into everything they did.

This place is truly special. We feel incredibly lucky not only to have stayed here, but to have met such amazing people. We’ll remember this experience for the rest of our lives — and we absolutely cannot wait...

Spent the dreamiest 4 nights here (patina villa) with my husband and daughter, to celebrate a birthday & Mother’s Day. They took such great care of us, spoiling us from the moment we walked through the door with flowers, wine, a birthday cake and just all around incredible service. Breakfast delivered every morning is fresh, full of variety and was so much that it fed us for breakfast and lunch by the pool everyday. We arranged a private chef through the property and it was truly a highlight - highly recommend. The villa itself is beyond gorgeous & provides a relaxing retreat away from the crowds. Perfect place to destress and enjoy each other’s company. After spending a morning in Oia, and being surrounded by people, it was so nice to come back to the villa and slip back into the quiet, relaxing slice of heaven. The views from the villa are gorgeous all day long, but especially beautiful at sunset.

We are already planning to come back and stay in the larger villa (which is also breath taking) with extended family.
