Evanthia Toroz Rooms & Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Western Lesvos

A delightful, well-priced cluster of studios built of local stone and set in a gorgeous garden. Superb hospitality, family-owned and run, and very clean. If you want ritzy, pay more and stay somewhere else. Marianthi Toroz is conveniently located near the entrance to the town, near the bus stop (cheap access to nearby villages) and with plenty of tavernas, cafes and mini markets close by, or a little further if you enjoy walking when you are on holiday. The bathroom is small but all you need and the two-plate hob and sink are handy for simple make-at-home meals. Scooters are the best way to get around in this hilly area, so they buzz to and fro much of the time. Shut the double glazed doors at night and you can block out most of the noise. (If you're sensitive, take earplugs.) But don't let this aside put you off! We loved our hosts, enjoyed Molyvos and loved...

We spent 6 relaxing days at Marianthi Toroz after a Turkey tour de force in summer 2014. We were welcomed by Evi who speaks a very good English and was very helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in one room so we cannot say about the studios, but with a refrigerator and a kettle we were able to cater for our breakfasts. You can find anything at walking distance (local products, supermarket, restaurants and Molyvos beaches) while Eftalou beach is a very short drive away. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, cool (we just needed the air conditioning once) and roomy. There is a small shady garden where you can rest and where you have a good chance to be treated with some fruits picked in the orchard or some freshly baked delicatessen. Molivos’ta Evanthia Toroz’un evlerinde kaldım ve kesinlikle harikaydı. Odam çok temizdi, mis gibi kokuyordu, küçük bir mutfak vardı ve Molivos Kalesi’ne bakan inanılmaz bir manzarası vardı. Tablolarla dolu odanın güzelliği beni çok etkiledi, hatta tabloları yapan sanatçıyla tanıştım. Evanthia çok yardımsever, İngilizceyi çok iyi konuşuyor. Molivos’a tekrar gelirsem yine burada kalmak isterim. Şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum!

I stayed at Evanthia Toroz’s houses in Molivos, and it was absolutely wonderful. My room was spotless, smelled fresh, had a small kitchen, and an incredible view of Molivos Castle. The room was filled with beautiful paintings, and I even met the artist who created them. Evanthia is very kind, speaks excellent English, and is very helpful. If I return to Molivos, I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended

Ho soggiornato nelle case di Evanthia Toroz a Molivos ed è stato assolutamente meraviglioso. La mia camera era pulitissima, profumata, con una piccola cucina e una vista incredibile sul Castello di Molivos. La stanza era piena di bellissimi quadri e ho persino conosciuto l’artista che li ha dipinti. Evanthia è molto gentile, parla benissimo inglese ed è molto disponibile. Se tornerò a Molivos, sceglierò sicuramente di nuovo questo posto. Consigliatissimo!

Έμεινα στα σπίτια της Ευανθίας Toroz στη Μόλυβο και ήταν πραγματικά υπέροχα. Το δωμάτιό μου ήταν πεντακάθαρο, μοσχομυριστό, με μια μικρή κουζίνα και απίστευτη θέα στο Κάστρο της Μολύβου. Ήταν γεμάτο όμορφους πίνακες και γνώρισα μάλιστα και τον καλλιτέχνη που τους δημιούργησε. Η Ευανθία είναι πολύ ευγενική, μιλάει άριστα αγγλικά και είναι πολύ εξυπηρετική.
