Hotel Petrino — Hotel in Municipality of Western Lesvos

This is the best Hotel I've ever stayed in Greece. It is located a short walk into the centre of Molyvos and is overlooked by the Castle. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much for them. The rooms are new and have new beds in them. The pool is great we were there in late July early August and we always had a choice of sunbeds due to no one else using them so we would have the very nice simple breakfast and go to the pool at 10.30 where we were usually the only ones there. There is a Supermarket just across the road that has everything you could need and you can get a Gyros in a 7 minute walk. The restaurants in Molyvos are many and all good too many to choose from. All in all it is a really cheap place to holiday a Mythos was between 3-4 euros and eating out in the harbour was the same price as everywhere else. Afgelopen 2 weken verbleven wij in Petrino. Het heeft ons positief verbaasd.  Dit mooie complex is dit jaar opnieuw in gebruik genomen door 4 enthousiaste jonge mensen. Ze hebben in een hoog tempo de basis behoeften sterk verbeterd. Zoals het zwembad,  houten vlonder rondom zwembad, nieuwe bedden, nieuwe kozijnen en verduisterde gordijnen, terras, nieuw buiten meubilair,  verf waar nodig, goede koelkast. Nieuw douchegordijn,  ja inderdaad een douchegordijn,  maar wel nieuw. Het ontbijt is goed en netjes verzorgd,  maar elke dag nagenoeg hetzelfde. Schoonmaak en handdoeken wissel om de dag. Deze mensen zijn bijzonder aardig en super enthousiast.  Ze hebben grootse plannen met dit mooie complex en willen het iedereen naar de zin maken. Als iets niet naar wens is wordt het direct opgelost (indien mogelijk). De ligging is fantastisch.  Uitzicht op het kasteel, zeer dichtbij de gezellige straat met winkels en restaurants.  Deze plaats is echt de sfeervolste van het hele eiland.
