Margarita's Studios — Hotel in Paros Municipality

Had been booked in for months, confirmed 2 bedroom apartment with large lounge and we'll equipped kitchen. Spoke to Margarita 2 consecutive days before arrival and had our pick up confirmed.|Picked up promptly but when met by Margarita was taken to Angelikis studios. Unsure why or what to do but when we asked we were told the owner had both studios. It was obviously not right but when we found Margaritas Studios 50m down the road we were told by Margaritas husband she was not there and he could not help.|Angelikis Studios were very basic. No lounge, the kitchenette was a corridor and hardly any equipment.|Eventually got Margaritas husband on the phone and he said she would be there shortly.|Margarita and owner arrived, no apology but when pressed said the apartment was not available for "technical reasons"! Offered 30% reduction on cost or would drive us where else we wanted to go!|What an insult!|We left shortly after informing the booking agency.|Why were we not informed before we arrived? Our party of four arrived at Margarita's Studios without a booking after a terrible experience trying to check into another place elsewhere on the island. Before we were even out of the taxi, Margarita was coming out to greet us. She welcomed us warmly and offered us one of her apartments for the night which was perfect! She couldn't have been more helpful with directions around town, supermarket etc which was in stark contrast to what we had experienced elsewhere that morning. Margarita was an amazing hostess, genuine embodiment of φιλοξενία (philoxenia), and super friendly; she made sure we were comfortable and accommodated all our requests and queries. The rooms were a short walk from the center/port and were in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood; you truly felt like a local walking through all the small streets.
