Piatsa Estiatorio — Restaurant in Paros Municipality

From the moment my wife arrived to the moment we left we were frustrated and disappointed with our experience here.

Firstly, the floor manager in the beige overalls did the best job ever of trying to look busy but actually do nothing at the same time. The waiters and waitresses jogged around hopelessly in all directions, and we were left waiting for ages to order and waited well over 15 mins to get our table cleared and our bill at the end. They would’ve literally looked at us and our table with plates etc everywhere and just carry on doing other things 😂

Before you ask.. the restaurant was half full during our visit. 😣

We finally got served when my wife shouted out.. that takes a lot trust me 😂

My favourite situation though was when I asked the waiter if he had ice and he said “yes we have” and then never brought me any ice at all 😂😂😂brilliant.

I ordered the premium pizza and it was a 30cm pizza prosciutto. The middle wasn’t cooked and when I cut into it because they couldn’t cut it properly and i would end up eating some of the paper tissue underneath. We never got a check back during our meal so I left the quarter eaten pizza at the side. When the waitress came to clear up at the end she actually asked if I wanted it boxed up without realising there might actually be something wrong.😂

She did remove the pizza from the bill so that’s saved a 1 star review, but...

I'm trying not to review to harsh. While the appotiser was very nice. Our order was mistakenly served. On the menu there are 2 scrimp pasta. One with ouzo and one with cognac.

When we ordered our food we already had the impression that the server did not understand us(even after pointing the dish on the menu) after our starter(Wich was really nice) our main plate came.

Because we had a suspicion that it was the wrong order (missing ingredients, and wrong colour) we asked if this was the correct one. And. They firmly stated that it was. After a few bites we where still in dubio as my gf dislike the taste of anise that comes with the oozo. Yet they still said is was the correct dish. At the time I did not tasted it myself. Sadly my gf is way to polite to disagree. At some point the offered me a tast and indeed a quiet heavy tast of anise was present. But since the dish was already partionally eaten we did not dare to give it back

For my own dish. I took the pasta Salmon. Not really my tast but ok.

We did enjoy the starter, mushroom with peppers and a creamsaus. That is definitely a awesome choice.

Also the 500ml house rosè was the best we had in our time in Greece....

We arrived here for our first meal in Paros and were greeted warmly and enthusiastically by the staff. We ordered our pizzas, which came promptly, and the pizzas were perfectly pleasant, although very pricey. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. After we had finished our food and were finishing off our wine, a waitress arrived and took the light away from our table to give to another table that had just arrived without even saying anything to us. We decided to pay and leave at that point but all the waitresses pretended not to see us, even though earlier in the evening they had been all over us. After getting fed up of being ignored, we went inside to pay. A waitress at the till was running her face under a tap and after making us wait for her to finish whatever she was doing eventually looked up listlessly after we’d asked for the bill. She went and got our bill as if she was doing us a massive favour, threw it into our hands and sullenly walked off. Needless to say, we didn’t leave a tip and we don’t recommend this as a...
