We booked the room through a travel agency called Grecos Travel and stayed there for 5 nights. First of all, even though we asked for a double bed (because we are a couple) and the travel agency said they had booked a with a double bed, we got two sigle beds side by side. When we confronted the receptionist for the bed he said that the maids didn't had time to make it look like a double bed(what kind of management is this??). The service was really bad. We had to carry our luggage 3 floors by ourselves. There was no elevato. The room was small with thin walls so we could hear everything that was happening in other rooms(we were lucky though and our neighbors weren't noisy at night). It wasn't very clean (which is very important nowadays especially because of the covid). The shower didn't have a curtain so when you took a shower the water was all over the place. The room didn't have a phone, the sheets were never changed and the room curtains were dirty and unhinged on one side. Lastly one day we had asked them to clean our room and when we came back it smelled bad, like they had used the same water to mop the entire hotel. The only reason we stayed there for our entire vacation was the location, 5' from town center.|All an all bad accommodation. Wouldn't...
Read moreThe location is the only mildly good thing about this hotel and its cheap price. However being centrally located with poor soundproofing means you can hear everything from the outside. The bathroom is not waterproofed and as a result the room floods when you have a shower. "Housekeeping" does not replenish toilet paper and you have to call off your mobile phone in order to receive some. There is no phone in the room. There is one main light in the room with no lamps. Bed sheets are not changed. Bathroom is not cleaned. Rooms are not soundproofed and you can hear EVERYTHING. Hosts many young people with too many people staying in each room and as such it is very noisy, and with the slamming of doors all night together with voices footsteps and phones ringing (yes you hear it all) there is no sleep. There are three flights of stairs to climb to get to the top where your room may be with no help from the "receptionist" to give you a hand with luggage. Overall very very cheaply done without any thought and clearly from an operator who does not care in...
Read moreBooked two rooms for one single night as the result of a coincidence flight to Athens departing at 6:00 in the morning from Skiathos. No lift so we had to take our luggage up three floors with no help from the receptionist. The sheets are somewhat folded on top of the bed and you have to prepare them by yourself, same for the bathroom towels that are lying on the bed as well. The walls are paper sheet thick, so you can hear another client sneezing on the other side of the building. The operators have a very basic understanding of the English language and I had some difficulties to communicate, especially to ask them for a cab at 4 am to get to the airport. Would...
