This review for Edelweiss Apartments is difficult. I will start with the negatives. Surprisingly, for Greece, the owners are extremely rude. No greetings, no friendly chats. Curt responses to questions. The owner with curly hair was so miserable. Our ground floor two bedroom apartment was very cold đŸ„¶. The bathroom was dire. The shower head kept falling from the holder and we were told to hold it ! The tiled floor was so slippy we purchased a shower mat in the town. We felt rules and regulations were "made up to suit themselves." The Tourist Tax is paid on arrival, but they would not accept a credit card. Fair enough, we handed over a debit card, then told we couldn't have a receipt!! If you order food or anything at the bar, it's immediate payment. Again were were advised in case the "tax man" came. "No food on tables that had not been paid for" .....absolutely ludicrous and did not apply anywhere else on the island. The temperature of the water was intermittent. Often luke warm. On asking to view the apartments which are rented out on Booking.com we were advised they were not for us as they were "too expensive đŸ€” ". We travelled with Jet2. Now on to the positives and there are many 😁 Spotlessly clean. Credit to the cleaning team who came in every day to our apartment and did a great job. The swimming pool is new and stylish. A hand rail to help access the pool would be an asset. The complex was so quiet and relaxing. Ample sun beds and parasols. Finally, a few tweaks could enhance stays. Bar menus to be in rooms on arrival advising of breakfasts etc A "token welcome drink" on arrival. Assistance with taking packs of water to rooms. Ladies in their 80s struggling up a metal staircase with no offer to help them. But the main piece of advice "PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE. INTERACT WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. DON'T TREAT US LIKE THE ENEMY, TO BE AVOIDED." We would definitely have spent time around the bar having lunch and nightcaps had you have been friendlier. A couple of days before we left, a new lady started work on reception ..... delightful, smiley and chatty.

A hidden gem! 💎 We had a perfect stay in this beautiful place in August 2022, and I certainly would recommend the hotel; I truly can’t give it enough praise. I already want to go back! It is located just around the corner from the hustle of Argassi’s centre, no more than a 2 minute walk. Stunning apartment equipped with anything you may need. With reception areas situated all over the hotel with lovely views. Durable and comfortable beds. Based on sharing between 4 adults, our 2 bedroom apartment had so much room we couldn’t even utilise all of it! We had 3 generously sized balcony’s with seating areas and views from every side of the building. The new en-suite bathrooms were pristine. Easy to use remote control air conditioning. Great pool facilities, and also all of the local hotels in the area allow you to use their pool and bar facilities. So many authentic, local and family owned restaurants to try nearby - We loved “Meating Point” just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. If you’re looking to do any organised tours; most of the tour bus and excursion companies have a pick up point just 2 minutes from the hotel. We didn’t have a problem with any of the facilities at the hotel. I recommend this hotel to all couples and families. Fantastic hospitality. We only wish to stay again soon. Thank-you for having us.

Really like this hotel. Friendly, helpful staff who take great care of their hotel and its facilities and are very accommodating. Nice pool. Food is good and well priced. Good location within a short drive of Zante Town and a shirt wall from buses. Very relaxed atmosphere partly because it is set five minutes away from the main tourist streets. Those few minutes make all the difference. Not too far to get supplies but you are insulated from all the mad business of the main drag. If we visit Zante again then this is where we'd stay.

Spent two weeks here with three U18s and two adults. |Negatives:|- WiFi is temperamental and constantly fluctuating in strength, but rarely strong connection.|- No toaster in the room despite being self catering. |- Floor plan of the apartment staying in was odd, meaning doors would often slam into each other when opening a door. |Positives:|-Peaceful and calm, no external noise factors with the exception of any chickens local, which were a rarity to hear.|-Friendly atmosphere at bar and when greeted from transfer. |-General friendly atmosphere from other visitors. |-Slept well, despite having a slightly wonky bed which was probably not the fault of the hotel but of a previous user.|-Good location|-Good for children|-Despite being self catering, menu was good for snacks during day.|-Shower was warm and strong. ||Personal Opinions of what could change:|- Breakfast menu at the pool bar would be a lovely addition for those not wanting to venture out early. |-Shower being separated from the rest of the bathroom (showers flooded the whole bathroom creating almost a wet room).||Overall, my family enjoyed our stay thoroughly, however a few small changes could really make a difference especially if my family were to return, which we...
